Surely a contract was agreed between both parties before development began? If not, and Microsoft spent its own funds remaking GoldenEye then it's a highly disappointing outcome but you can't build a game on a promise.
I like reading these stories to do with the behind the scenes creation of the consoles.
@Terry_B I'm confused by all this cancel culture. Are you cancelling the man who's cancelled Terraria on Stadia, or are you cancelling the company who cancelled his accounts?
@spicelicka wouldn’t that be ‘a new place to buy the collection’?
If it turned out to be PS5 I would be beyond shocked, I’d have to sit down and have a glass of water! I suspect this will be the streaming platforms like Stadia and Amazon’s new service. But it is a good idea as it might expose people to Halo who then want to buy an Xbox Series X to play Halo Infinity.
Double post
@1nsomniac. You said "Yes the XBox might not be showing it currently in gameplay but this shows physical proof that if pushed correctly it will perform substantially better than the PS5."
The Digital Foundry video explains that in photo mode neither console is being pushed in the same way a game requires so the photo mode is able to take advantage of the raw GPU Tflops. As the Series X has got a faster GPU this is why it has better results in photo mode.

@ED-E Fair enough. I actually played on Xbox 360 many years ago, but I can’t remember it, so maybe that’s saying something!
Checking the internet it was 2-3 hours in length so EA should have put the money in so that it could be recreated.
Remember when angry fans sent death threats to developers because of the Cyberpunk 2077 delay?

As RaiderNation said above, WFM no doubt complicates the game making process and there will probably be more delays this year. We just have to be understanding when a game we want is delayed and there's certai...
The game is included with PS Plus. I will play and judge the game for myself and if the microtransactions are intrusive then I will moan. Until then, I'm looking forward to seeing what it's about.
@Storm23. Control was in the sale and I was going to get it but held off, I'm so glad I did! I wanted Concrete Genie and maybe Destruction Allstars will be fun. Great month.
Response keeps disappearing. It said the rumours come direct from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman a respected tech journalist. He has proven to be the most consistently accurate Western reporter of rumours of Apple future products.
Ghosts of Tsushima released in July 2020 later got an update. TLOU2 was released in June and was Sony’s biggest game of the year, but it hasn’t received the same treatment. The fact that Sony made a Spider-Man Remastered game makes me suspect a PS5 remastered edition is likely.
The Super Mario 64 rerelease included in Super Mario 3D Allstars provides the best clues on what Nintendo will do for a Zelda Ocarina of Time rerelease.
'I predict that later this year in the September – December window, Sony will release a new version of the PSVR'
Sorry buddy but this won't be happening. I've been following this topic very closely. PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan has gone on record to say PSVR2 is NOT happening this year. He said in 2020: “I think we’re more than a few minutes from the future of VR. PlayStation believes in VR. Sony believes in VR, and we definitely believe at some point in the fut...
Massive news. Star Wars would lend itself so well to an open world game and Ubisoft obviously have experience with this. There were hints of how it could work with Disney Infinity 3.0 which was aimed at younger ages but still had some great moments. Also, I personally love Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic such a great RPG that gave you a sense of the universe. Now we also know Bethesda/Machine Games is making an Indy game I hope the new Lucasfilm Games is scouting for a developer with ex...
That concept art of a new Nintendo Switch looks really good.
Preparation for when the EA contract is over?
Incredible. Besides FF7R, Ghost of Tsushima and Resident Evil 3 the top twenty is owned by Nintendo Switch.
The Last of Us part II must not have resonated there as its at 25.
I'm trying to work out reasons why there is such a massive difference from the West especially when the PS4 has sold many units there. Maybe the population has moved on to Switch which is the more recent console, and the portable aspect is very desirable there too. But maybe it's jus...
