The Lost Frontier was more kid friendly and that grates a bit. Same is true of Secret Agent Clank and R&C:SM, but they were still good games.
RPCS3 is older but PS3 hardware is harder to emulate. The PS3 works the opposite way most games are generally developed with many more GPU related functions occurring on the CPU rather than the GPU.
The developers of this PC emulator need to circumvent these odd PS3 processing characteristics and that takes more time.
If a near constant 32FPS with random spikes to 45 or 50FPS is what the kids call 60FPS these days.
