Amazing how a base model PS4 still has games that outshine the latest and greatest available on PC. FM6, FH3 and FM7 all maxed out on PC look worse than GT Sport on a standard PS4 where it counts on cars and tracks. Textures and 4K aren't going to change that. DF agrees as well it seems.

First of all Sony hasn't been a stranger to MTs and so far hasn't let them get out of hand. Even when some Vita freebies (AR style games) required MTs to see everything they weren't a big deal as the games were skipable experiences. I've not seen any incidents of Sony AAA games requiring MTs to play or explore aspects of a game that can't be earned by other means. The worst MTs in Sony games revolved around PlayStation Home!
Same thing happened last gen too. GT5 and 6 did more and looked better than Forza 3 and 4. The only difference then was that Forza ran better.
They compared GTS on PS4 Pro to FM7 on PC using max settings...
So unless the XOX version of FM7 will look and run better than PC version, then GTS will still be more graphically impressive.
Obviously GTS doesn't have weather (aside from rain). But it manages to have all the other things your talking about including dynamic shadows (windmills on one of the tracks cast shadows as the blades spin) and there are helicopters and drones flying round. There are also people walking around the stadiums up and down walkways and even through various sky walks in GTS.
Or it's just taht Forza fans ignore them...

I can tell you that GTS so far appears to have far more going on in it's environments than FM7 based on my experience with both one on a base model PS4 (GTS of course) the other on a PC (16GB DDR4 RAM a 7th gen Core i7 7700 and GTX 1070 with 8GB GDDR5 VRAM). GT Sport still swept FM7 in the visuals department.
Aside: I don't have HDR on my TV but my S8 does HDR via YouTube... Based on DF's HDR videos on FM7 and GTS I'd say GTS wins there too.

Already had an opportunity to play FM7 on a jacked PC (ahead of XOX in power) and FM7 maxed out in 1080p at a full 60FPS (car reflections also 60FPS).
FM7 still looks worse than GTS.

Did you forget to look at the 3D trees along the very same trackside in the very same video? Yeah GT Sport also features 3D trees!

No one will listen to reason here though... It's all about boarding the hate train! As opposed to finding out why the game needs an always online connection. It would make sense that the FIA wouldn't want any old hacker to get a FIA licence. The only way they could achieve that is to necessitate an always online connection.

Own a standard PS4 and a PC capable of playing FM7. Already played the GTS Open Beta and have downloaded the FM7 Demo. Will test both will capture video of both will analyze both critically comparing PC to base PS4...
If PC maxed out looks the same as what I've already seen in video then GTS looks better than FM7 full stop but I will be able to see it for myself firsthand this time... So exciting to finally see what a Core i7 7700, GTX 1070 equipped...

Nintendo's latest hardware is incapable of giving users the ability to purchase a single game and expect all of the content in the box, even if it comes on multiple carts. We know there are a total of zero games on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo's own previous console Wii U that required multiple discs!
EA needs to learn that MTs are unwanted and unnecessary. If they want to charge people for new content not on disk or part of free updates fine but balance-breaking characters and weapons shouldn't be locked behind ludicrously impossible playtimes or steep monetary fees. Cosmetic stuff is alright but you should be able to earn that by playing as well. Uncharted's multiplayer has these kinds of loot boxes and people don't care because they don't change the game they change a ch...
