What we have on PC is hardware underutilization. This is a direct result of hardware market aerosolization.
Xbox One X looks impressive compared to Pro because the hardware is slightly better but also because Xbox One and S were both weaker than base model PS4s.
Games on PS4 clearly still punch well above their weight class as evidenced by games like GT Sport and Horizon Zero Dawn the former looks much better than the likes of PCARS2 AND FM7 even on much more capable PC hard...
Nintendo also abandons last gen hardware... Nintedo dropped NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii and Wii U each successive generation like Superman would drop a lump of kryptonite! Nintendo doesn't treat it handhelds any better either.

For starters games like Minecraft look and run better on my Galaxy S8 than on Switch. Course battery life was worse in my battery stress test which included multitasking and turning on and using all wireless radios including ones the Switch doesn't posses maxing out screen brightness which maxes out over 1,000 nits or about 3 times the Switch's maximum screen brightness and plus dual audio out and utilizing HDMI out on battery which is also something Swit...
The hardware while cheaper than a gaming laptop by a significant margin is still overpriced I can play my PC games on the go thanks to Nvidia gamestreaming just like PS4 Remote Play these options are available on Nvidia gaming laptops as well as desktop PCs so prices vary wildly but if you're using a gamestreaming capable Nvidia system it's already more powerful than Switch and can run games in far better form than Switch can as an added bonus I can carry my phone and a gamepad around...
Not necessarily true. My PC isn't as portable as Switch and maybe neither is Microsoft's Surface Pro 4... But it's still more powerful than Switch undocked and probably gets decent battery life.
