No mention of gamea like Circuit Breakers? Hm... I guess G-Police is on PC... Somehow PS1 games that were on PSN are counted like Ape Escape yet Gran Turismo (the original) isn't?
I CONFUSED

Oh come on now... How do you think this guy would get traffic to his site? /s

Unfortunately this is how N4G works these days authors post links to their sites for hits it's pretty self serving.

You are all just bitter that PC is analogous for Mobile in the gaming space. Deeply fragmented hardware with many game launchers and store platforms, moding costs you all those precious FPS (but then terrible FPS is ok), basic looking titles with minor edgewise visual improvements over the current console generation and to top it all off most of the PC guys are constantly begging for console games to jump ship to PC!

Unfortunately as I have been saying for a while now and h...

PC has been holding that beer instead.
(Means there's been no real innovation on PC for a very very long time)

Like Game Works uses CUDA RTX is leveraging hardware accelerated raytracing. However in truth raytracing can be done on any hardware with or without RTX's RT cores.

Wasn't Cuphead already released on PC?

Well Nintendo just can't let Switch be the second most stable platform, can they?

What morons would toss their PCs just because gaming is •••• on the platform?

I have a decent gaming laptop runs FH4 maxed out 1440p60. Games like Crysis 3 still dip in 1080p.
GTX 1070
Core i7 7700
16gb @2.4Ghz DDR4
Two drives one SSD one 1TB HDD
Gaming on it would be a dream if all games ran with some semblance of equity given appearances, but thst doesn't happen. Games that look pretty simple and don't feature much comp...

I started gaming on PCs switched to consoles back in the early 90's...
That petty much cut PC gaming down to less than 10%.
In 2017 I purchased a new laptop capable of running pretty much all games at 1080p60 minimum with maxed out or high settings in over 80% of the games out even now (excluding RTX obviously, but sometimes including Game Works).

And let me tell you something...

It was a nightmare! PC has only become far more dracon...

Good question. The articles do not clarify this.

Performance was always configurable on Tegra X1. It was designed as a mobile platform made to be in a car 24/7... What did you expect?
Oh you didn't expect Nintendo to lock that functionality out... Why?

Switch isn't that much more powerful than Wii U. Sorry the truth is that the boost in performance is closer to 30-ish percent and to be clear Wii U's GPU *AND* CPU performance were both lower than PS3/X360.

So you're telling me Nintendo's 9th gen console features a tiny bump in performance over their last generation hardware and isn't really able to run well any multiplats from 2005 to 2019.
Oh and I really meant from 2005 to now! Xbox 360 and PS3 multiplatform games run poorly on Switch and more powerful hardware made with the same SoC namely Shield TV which launched two years before Switch in 2015.

Meanwhile next gen home consoles will undoubtedly have a...

Correct the Tegra X2 was primarily made to power the Nvidia Drive PX automated driving platform.
It features a far beefier CPU, double the GPU power and really isn't made to work inside a tablet. No devices or vehicles for that matter that I am aware of use Tegra X2 including the self-driving cars they were designed to be installed into!

The Google Pixel C is the only tablet I know of with a Tegra X1 inside.
Nvidia never made a Tegra X1 powered tablet. The Shield Portable and Shield Tablet are using Tegra 4 and Tegra K1 SoCs both of those are far less powerful than the X1.

Being realistic persistent high clocks speeds wouldn't benefit Switch much and would be detrimental to battery longevity not just while on the go but bad for the battery cells useful lifespan!

That's not the only reason these clocks speeds aren't apples to apples.
There are way more cores inside the other home consoles and they never have to slow down due to long-term mobility they can just fire out their video stream to compatible web clients...
