You cannot use a VPN to connect to PSN.
However 4G works fine for Remote Play. WiFi is not required if you're using a cellular network no tricks required to do that either.
Apparently you're right Redditors are having serious trouble claiming that PS4s were legitimately bricked.
Apparently the game corrupted the database which doesn't really mean that much on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. Just rebuild the database and you're all set most reports also didn't report actual data loss though one individual stated that the SSD installed at the time the game crashed no longer functioned. But what of their PS4? The individual plopped in a different dri...
To be fair I didn't say the story was fantastic, I praised the art style and gameplay.
@xX-oldboy-Xx
I think you mean the species is getting dumber. There are all kinds o$ different races and yeah there are differences between human groups on a biological level that separate us, but the species "homo sapien sapien" includes all human beings.
@Obscure_Observer
Brah... OP is saying Xbox Exclusives aren't worth it to him...
And the sales numbers suggest the world is in agreement.
@Livingthedream
Remember Cross-Buy?
Remember how Sony did that with PS3 and PS4 launch games and even some PS Vita titles even when one copy of any given title was a physical copy?
I bet you don't remember... Maybe you should be thanking PlayStation for that innovation that MS adopted for their own Game Pass... Too bad MS doesn't support that cross-buy feature for most of its physical software purchases.
@sinspirit
Lol at the one disagree.
I guess they don't know that even Ace Combat used real locations scanned in by satellite imagery. Artists then went in and added some of their own flair and of course created many of the craters across Strangereal.
That was back on the PS2. Before then many games including some flight sims relied on artists impressions of the surrounding environments. It was most likely due to lack of RAM because color arial photos of many dev...
Agreed those clouds and aircraft are incredibly believable. Can't wait to see if my PC can handle it!
I knew it... Freedom Wars is an awsome game with an interesting art style (that isn't unique to anyone but me because I couldn't care less about anime). It also reminds me a lot of Astral Chain not gameplay wise (though there are some slight parallels there too), but it's art design is very similar. The story also isn't an incomprehensible mess which is a rarity for many JRPGs.
Freedom Wars certainly does. Isn't Persona 4 already playable on everything including my toaster and inside Minecraft?
@aedevoftw
I agree with this sentiment. If the company is long since defunct and no one owns the IP. Why is it still considered illegal to emulate the software? It shouldn't be the devs made their money or they didn't but the software exists. It's like throwing out cooked food at the end of a shift... All these companies talk about cutting their waste and yet canning unsold goods is still the defacto standard.
Well if PS5 backwards compatibility winds up covering 100% (or even 90%) of the entire library of all PlayStation software... Emulation becomes a moot point for that series of hardware. I wonder if PocketStation, PSP and Vita titles could be included in PS5 backwards compatibility?
Easier friends codes? I thought one of the selling points of NO was ditching FC altogether?
THIS ISN'T JUST WHAT GAMERS WERE ASKING FOR IT'S WHAT THEY NEEEEEED!!!

@UltraNova
This is already happening everywhere not just in gaming. See exclusive programs depending on TV services satellite and cable, online services like Hulu, Apple TV and Netflix and many more but this also happens across music streaming services too.
Exclusively is nothing new to any one anywhere regardless of what you do or make.
Agreed. Not all games can be considered art it lowers the standard.
Sony already offers refunds to customers when game details this extreme change. Apparently this isn't going to be a continuation of or include game content that was initially advertised. Right now Sony is refunding customers who purchased the utterly broken WWE 2K20 game.
What did I tell you guys about Nintendo?
I told you that they would do this again when their profits increased and... I was right!
#NOTSURPRISED should be trend.... Oh right not many people even care about these kinds of games anyway, but it's not unexpected that Nintendo would revert as soon as they felt financially healthy enough to be more selective about what games wind up on their hardware.
Looks like a PS2 game with better shadows and better volumetric lights.
And yes there were PS2 games that had volumetric lights. Haven Call of The King was one such example. That game also featured full day night cycles on various planets that you could also fly to and around in the campaign. It was kind of ahead of its time in some ways.
And any game that's in the PS4's disc tray is also supported so long as it's not a VR game or a game that requires special peripherals like PlayStation Camera or PS Move.
Unfortunately BD/DVD movies and digital streaming services can't be enjoyed via Remote Play due to software restrictions mostly determined in concert with outside publishers and also due to contracts PlayStation has with streaming platform partners.
This is a non-issue as basically...
