So yeah I'm confused by this as the existing games discs for Xbox One support 50GB capacities and the game is 42GB on PC including all DLC... So why isn't it fitting on Xbox's disc? Seems like a non-starter of an issue. The game should just fit... Right?

That said is this something the developer and publisher decided on or does the Xbox Series system not read 100GB BD-ROMs?

Wow... I'm as close as you can get to a bona-fide "Sony Pony" on N4G by some people's standards and this fear the disc-based DRM is bunk before its taken off at least in this case. As long as MS hosts the rest of the game content you can download it so long as you have the disc.
I'm calling this now without knowing for certain: MS IS NOT bringing back disc-based DRM.

I guess not? I'm not sure there's any difference between UHD BD-ROM drive on either system. PlayStation made a point to note that 100GB game disc capacity. MS didn't... Still not sure there's a real difference myself, but then again why do this? Are 100GB BDs that costly to print???
Time will tell. It would be really sad if MS got saddled with the smaller capacity discs for the 3rd generation in a row and unfair to their consumers.

Did you forget that these consoles have ultrafast IO with PS5's being even faster than XS? That RAM can be unloaded faster and 4x res boost isn't going to hog 4x the RAM either. How much RAM is available to the game... I can't remember if this was discussed on the PS5 side during "The Road To PS5" brief, but I'm fairly sure these details haven't been disclosed for XS either.

Oh no they're not. It's also a problem when phones don't leverage full resolution. Why is XSX getting a pass here when even SMARTPHONES and Switch don't? If this were the other way around MS fans would be laughing at PS5 fans and potential purchasers for 1080p60 no-HDR UI.

Demos like P.T. don't have licenses and thusly aren't associated with your PSN account when you download them. Even so a delisted title can be made unavailable even if you paid for it in theory (ToS) same is true on pretty much all services.
Again demos usually have no DRM and no license on PSN meaning they're never associated with anyones accounts meaning when the title was delisted no one will ever have access to it again. So don...

Ok with that out of the way. If you have the game on PS4 installed you should be able to transfer your games to a PS5 via external media including your PS4 external HDD (USB HDD).

The disc drive is very low.
The PSU is at the base of the system.
The heatsink is located above and behind the PSU.
Motherboard and M.2 slot are also situated low in the system.
The fan is at the top where most of the empty space and plastic outer structure is.
This isn't likely too top heavy and PS5 is over a kg lighter than the first commercially available PS3s.
Another issue concerning the S that some will ignore for senseless reasons.
If you're going into next gen get next gen hardware. The S isn't it.
