What are you talking about? Plenty of IP were exclusive to other platforms before PS even came along. How do you think PS even wound up getting games like Final Fantasy?

Sunset Overdrive is more like an amalgamation of everything great about Ratchet and Clank re-skinned and cartoon-ified to an insane degree with a healthy dose of snark (maybe too much for some people). It was the only game that interested me on Xbox One after learning that FM5 was all smoke and mirrors.
That might be a bridge too far (meaning I might even get VR sickness out of that and I'm quite at home playing WipEout: Omega and AC7 in VR).
There are mobile games that when played on PC don't work right without installing them on your PC's SSD!

Game development is more than how many CPU/GPU cycles you have available per second. It's about what other things the hardware as a whole can allow you to bring to the table. Sounds like PS5 allows Insomniac to really open up the floodgate!

Not only that but when or if PlayStation patches out CBOMB it sounds like might also patch out Trophy support for PS3/PS4 which will upset people for other reasons even though on PS3 Trophies were and afterthought and no one should care because they can still earn new PS4 trophies on any PS5.
It's so crazy that the native PSP store closed back in March 2016! Yet people didn't say much of anything when the Wii, Wii U, DS and 3DS stores closed permanently including Nintendo stopping all re-downloads. All the PlayStation focused op-eds are treating this like the end of the world but the fact is PlayStation is still allowing users to keep their purchases and if they need to free up space they can still re-download purchases for the foreseeable future.

Not that I don't think this move sucks it's just not important to the people writing these pieces and ultimately it's not that important to me even as a PSP/PS3/PSV owner. I do think the people most heavily impacted are developers.

I'm a fan of Japan Studio and was a fan of Studio Liverpool - man that still hurts and yes I'm aware that's Liverpool is in England not Japan, but it still hurts to see these developers go and know those IPs might forever be relics of the past.
Japan Studio definitely made my time on PSP more enjoyable with games like LocoRoco and on PS Vita I thoroughly enjoyed Gravity Rush and picked up the Gravity Rush 2 pre-order for PS4...
