Well the original people saying it was 480p weren't wrong at the time. Dust was going to be that resolution. Microsoft just went back and rightfully changed it from 480p to 1080p

I think PS5 should run PS4 games at launch (much the same way PS3 ran PS2 games at launch)...But unlike Scorpio, when PS5 arrives (in 2019 or 2020), Sony should start making games that are only on PS5 (in order to fully max out the PS5 hardware)

Sorry, but Sony's exclusives were going to be talked about regardless of Scorpio...Thats what happens when God of War, Spider-Man, The Last of Us, Death Stranding, etc are in the pipeline.

Congrats to Nintendo on their new hardware release. And of course PS4 was going to be in 2nd what with all the excellent games in late-Feb and all of March...Xbox will probably stay in 3rd until at least the holidays

If 360 owners havent jumped to the XB1 family of consoles yet, they're probably never going to jump.
And the vast majority of PC gamers will probably sink $500 [my prediction of Scorpio's price] into upgrading their PCs. And thats because they probably don't want to start paying to play online & they like their open source dev...

Since Exclusives (for me) are the main reason why I tilt one way or the other, I can't bank on "should" since Xbox has cancelled 3 games they've put decent to heavy promotion behind (Scalebound, Fable & a New Phantom Dust)

For a PS4 UK Launch comparison: In the UK the PS4 sold 250k in the first 48hours after launch. So if even half of those people bought a game at the same time then that would be 125k software units in the first 48 hours

I will keep saying this over & over...Price is the biggest factor. The specs of the Scorpio will look better (or worse) depending on the price. What your getting in the console & how much that console will cost is the only way the average consumer will be able to figure out the value of the console
