See... I find "articles" like this to be rather absurd. On one hand, you have PS3 fanboys crying for "respect" and lashing out at anything slightly negative said about the PS3. On the other hand, you have Xbox fanboys gloating about anything even slightly in the 360's favor and ignoring their own problems. Then you have the gamers, who just shake their head at the whole situation. This "article" is pretty light on info as it is, which brings me to my point...

I STILL play Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark to this day. The greatest console FPS titles of all time.

The media isn't biased against ONLY the PS3, but humans are inherently biased. Every reviewer and writer decides what to write and how to write it based on their own experiences and point of views.
It's also a FACT that websites such as these are made to GET HITS, generate revenue from advertising, and MAKE PROFIT. They are a business. To deny that is foolhardy.
But hey, if you want to go la la la while MS did indeed give out Halo 3 swag bags, by all means, continue....
But if Konami denies MGS4 to the 360, clearly THEY are lying, unlike EA here, M I RITE?

I don't get why the media feels that every game that is hyped (by them!) needs to redefine the genre? I personally feel, be it Halo or KZ, God of War or Ninja Gaiden, that executing polished, fun gameplay WELL is the best thing a gamer could ask for.
I guess it's a "conspiracy" that MS gave out $800 swag bags just as Halo 3 was being reviewed, eh?

This article, however, just seems to be an opinion, which everyone is entitled to. I do find it strange to be coming from a PC mag, however...
While I have no doubt LBP will continue to sell well, it's hypocritical to call out VGChartz as accurate source of information in this instance, but call it out for being wrong in other cases.

But Crab, you and I have had plenty of good discussion in the past. I never considered you a fanboy, but a gamer. One who gets sick of fanboys, and plays their games, but a gamer still. Clearly you don't talk to enough people here. Plenty of people, even those that prefer Sony, call them out on their utter arrogance and stupidity, lack of advertising, etc. But FANBOYS are a diff story.

I like it when one group of fanboys singles out another group of fanboys as the cause for all their woes and BS. Please. I don't care what system you are a fanboy of, every fanboy is terrible and a joke to gamers. Pick a site, and it will have some level of "control" from a group of fanboys. I will give Halo its props, specifically Halo 2 for the online portion. They did bring a few things to console FPS that PC users had for a while. Halo CE especially. Halo 3 I think was meh personally, but the video recording feature was totally awesome and should be standard in all competitive games!
But I still think Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark were the first true competitive console FPS party titles, at least for me, and should be given their dues. Now those are games I still p...
