i think re4 was a darker game, with more sinister enemies. the medieval inspired setting, along with the dark enemies stil helped re4 feel truly scary. re5 was too "sci-fi", and the more modern setting sort of took away from it.
haha
Oh, well than that is pretty messed up. Not a huge deal, but messed up. Sounds like the dev was just validating that the esram has it's benefits, but the title aimed to misconstrue this.
the title has the word "some" in it. what are you doing, c'mon. go away
bleak ftw!
That is just a low-life, scumbag act. These are the type of filthy little losers that take it too far and someone should basically ruin their day. But anyhow, it's too bad that people like this continue to work their best to hold back gaming culture. Good thing it really isn't working. Too bad some form of legal action couldn't be taken.
This type of info is a small example of why publishers would prefer their games release on as many platforms as feasible.
I agree, and that is why it is what came to mind while I was watching this video. I thought for sure it would pop up. Sure, other people would name other games off the top of their heads, but for me, this is the first title that really made me go "wow". It was my first online game as well. It is franchises like gears that come along and justify the move to new hardware by showcasing what is possible.
Well clearly they just want to get these things back asap so they can resell it at almost full price and make probably even more than they would off a new unit. The sooner they have used stock, the sooner they can satisfy the demand. Same goes for both consoles, and I really do not think this should be an article to begin with. This is no indication of how either console is selling, and the bottom line is that these companies have their ways when it comes to making money.
PS...
not very good, way too many important and genre-defining titles missing. One quick example is Gears, which at the time was actually a pretty big deal. But there are a ton of other titles that this guy should have thrown in
Well this wasn't obvious. I mean, c'mon. To be fair, next to next-gen racers, even forza 5 being a launch game, the difference is not so much. I mean the in-car cam looks amazing and the lighting is much better than say forza 5, but overall, I am sure we will begin to see racers that can rival this on console. Why compare it to ps3?? And also, PC ofcourse will always be capable of turning out better graphics with high-end rigs. I don't see the point in this article.
The lighting effects in this game are really accurate so far, from what I can tell. Should be really cool to see how it turns out.
Cannot disagree there. However, IW also said this about CoD. But I think it is clear that both games were at least partially rushed, and they may not have had the time to optimize properly using the eSRAM. No doubt PS4 seems easier to develop for, and more powerful, but I think both consoles should be able to handle this next wave of games at 1080. I guess this next year will truly be the test of whether the x1 will be able to keep up, at least in terms of resolution. These devs have more tim...
I think the X1 should be able to handle this with the right optimization. This game looks really nice, and hitting 1080.60 for X1 would at least prove that it is possible for more graphics-intense games than forza. That being said, if they truly feel that the game cannot hit 1080/60 without removing certain effects, then I would rather hear 900/60. Chances are I will have my ps4 by then, and while I would prefer to play this on x1, at least I know I will probably have the choice of which port...
@rytgear, all he said though is that they looked amazing, and they did. Gameplay or not, they at least seem to show so promise. I guess I cannot argue that they did hype this up to the point where people expected much more. I cannot help myself from feeling that every comment that mentions a x1 exclusive gets ripped up for some reason.
I am glad to see that many studios didn't waste their hype on half-assed trailers for this mess of a show, though.
hahahahah "enemy snake online". "enemy cobra incoming"...that second one could get confusing.
Ever since mw3(though the franchise was fatigued well before that point) I have been saying how I will probably not buy "next year's" CoD game. I have gotten everyone so far, but Ghosts really kind of shows just how foolish I have been for hoping for more. They felt they needed to change it up, because even activision and IW know it is tired. But these changes have led to more problems and the overall CoD experience has been hurt.
Here's hoping Treyarch can...
nice disagrees, maybe you shouldn't mention anything related to xbox one, as this seems to strike up some dark inner demons around here.
hahahaha, YES!!!
yay, let's all turn this into a pro-ps4, anti xbox one flame thread from hell. awesome! you fanboys are so cool, i wish i could be like you too!
