Why miss out on any of these? Lists like this just remind me why I bought both, and fully justify money well spent.
Seriously though, I know not everyone can or wants to get both consoles, and I think regardless of which one you choose, you almost can't go wrong.
I feel like we have a pretty good gauge on how a lot of these games will be, but quantum break and the order really have me curious.
This game looks so sick. Bring on march already! Also, little chick in the second vid could deff get it
I also hope we get to see the original trilogy re-released in some form. I would like a remaster (if done right, and not just yet), but hopefully if/when MS announces plans to get 360 titles going on xbox one, gears will be on the list.
I think it is very smart when you can do this. They have the cash, and apparently the big guys up top at MS are beginning to understand that heavy investment in first party IP is one major key to success. We can prob thank Sony for that. Of course, if Epic did not want to make a new gears game than MS kind of had no choice.
UC4 etc. will all be huge games and that is the reason I have a ps4. But I am just glad to see MS is investing to keep the xbox one premier platform for online shooters. That being said, I do agree that some more variety would be great, and I think titles like sunset overdrive and quantum break are proof that there will be variety (though we've still yet to see how those games turn out).
Your comment just solidifies the view that each platform has its strengths. Luckily ...
I agree, Gears was the kind of game where after 3 installments all they could really do is shake up the formula and, IMO, Overrun mode was the only good thing to come from that. I am confident now that the next-gen tech along with a few years to rest the franchise will yield some great results.
I guess only time will tell, but I will be following this project with a keen eye my friends.
I am really hoping for another gears, but I doubt they would just drop it like this; these announcements are usually saved for larger events as ammo against the competition. I think a next-gen release could be just what the franchise needs (so long as they get back to the normal formula, keep locusts in MP and make the campaign less linear). Make the right moves and market it correctly and I think it would sell big.
But I think we all know this announcement will not be that.....
I hope you are right. Us hardcore gamers know the truth, and everyone else prob doesn't care. Games are what I wanna read about.
Nice, I really hope this is some kind of big deal, but TBH I would almost doubt that they randomly announce some kind of huge title like that. Either a timed exclusive indie game coming over to xb1, or just some other indie game i bet.
This, while no confirmed source, seems very reasonable. I came to terms with this a long time ago...then again I have both consoles and am not as biased.
Prob my main dilemma over this stuff was suggesting to my friends and family which console to go with this gen, as they will only get 1. But then I realized that for them, this stuff will never matter. They have been xbox gamers for some time, and should be more than happy with xb1. So I will always play multiplayer games wi...
these ga,es were just weird to me. never liked them
ha. there's truly no real MS comments on here, its either a few people saying "good, why not". the rest is just sour sony fanboys. like what you like, but it is funny to see this. i guess until second son comes out this is all they have to do. maybe take a walk?
worst. comparison. ever.
just my opinion...but this game doesn't really blow my mind from what i see, and i think it will just be "ok". but who knows.
amen
awesome disagrees. maybe you should pretend you dont like xbox 1...#console racism. lolz brah
Of course and there already is a good handful. Problem is that for xbox one to hit 1080, they seem to have to dial back the framrate, so games like ghosts etc. push for 720/900 instead.
I am willing to bet that multiplats will begin to hit 1080p for xb1, but that will be the exception and not the rule. 1st/2nd party games will absolutely hit 1080/60 but that is because they have only one console to work on and they can spend the extra time working with the eSRAM and such. ...
I have to agree, I love my xbox one, and my ps4 is on the way as we speak (nabbed one from bestbuy online), but the fact is that we already know that the ps4 is more powerful. xbox one is not so far removed as something like the wiiU, but we already know the facts...so why is it such a huge talking point when we already know what to expect.
What I will say is that MS was touting 1080p and so they better find a way to help devs hit 1080 and quick, if it's even possible (I ...
I have to agree. It will never be ps2 vs xbox again, MS simply grabbed too much market share last gen, but I could see them hitting at least 60-70-80 million units while sony hits 80-90-100 respectively, depending on where the console market goes in the coming years (things are looking good though).
@hellz why cant he justify his purchase? maybe the other guy was justifying his choice to not purchase. everything on this site in some form or another seems to revolve around x being better than y. he just dropped his opinion brah
