plus, like i said, europeans are f'ing weird man. seriously, they get like this over new toothpaste.
Europeans get weird when hyped...and they hype easily. i seen them in action a few times. all odd
not being able to play franchises like the last of us, uncharted, god of war, halo, forza, GT (just to name a few) would very quickly make me miss all those jaggies, sonny jim. And, regardless of what you own, I think each console has at least one title that shows what is possible in the coming years, and it looks very nice.
So while your busy shelling out tons of cash (which is what you need if you want to run games at the quality you seem to desire), and soldering things to...
There will be some diffs, but I still doubt it will be that huge. Also, for the record, I played most big AA titles for both my ps3 and xbox 360, and uncharted 2/3 and TLoU both didn't look all that much better, if at all, than gears 3/judgment or halo 4. I bet the case will be somewhat similar this time too.
Either way, I am very happy with my xbox one so far. I'll grab a ps4 along side second sun, so I will not be missing out on any thing from either side. I would s...
objectively, yes, this looks better than forza 5...but why does everyone need to make this comparison. This game doesn't even seem to play like a sim at all. 2 diff games, and this looks very fun. but what the dick measuring contest?? forza 5 still lokks pretty good for a launch game. And do not forget that as of now, drive club is 30fps. Still, it looks very, very nice.
Honestly, I would say this game deserves a solid 7/10. What it does do, it does right. They just needed more varied enemies, more interaction with the environment, a deeper combo system. Maybe let us engage the giant elephants that appear toward the end, and actually hang on to them and slice them down. I really hope this game can get a sequel, as there is a great base here for a truly terrific game.
I truly hope that over time, the xbox one's overall plan will play out. I for one did not mind the higher price, and planning to buy both made choosing which one to get first much easier. But for the general public, especially moms/dads, there isnt much reason to buy the more expensive console. It's crazy to see how badly MS misjudged the market with xbox one. I thought that going into this generation, we would see a hard fought battle. But ever since e3, it has been quite clear that ...
the card doesnt get charged, they simply reserve the right to charge it, should you fail to ship back the faulty device. basically, they take the info as collateral...but you will never pay a dime if you send back the old console.
I used this method to replace my kinect. they do not charge you a cent...instead, they take your card info and then if you do not send the faulty device back within 2 weeks, they charge you the price. this is just some confused person making things sound worse then they are. MS just takes the card info as collateral, but never charge a cent if you send back the unit. get educated ya fools
I have to agree, ryse really is the nicest next gen release. its hard to argue. i mean killzone looks amazing, and the sci-fi environments allows for some really cool settings that help to better showcase some of the new lighting techniques. but all in all, i think ryse takes the cake here. also, from what i have read/known for a while now is that FPS games often have an easier time with crafting environments etc, since they do not need to render the players character at all times.
from a purely critical standpoint, ryse truly is "ok" at best. the graphics are sick for a launch title, but the gameplay just gets tiresome. i have found it to still be fun, but there is no replay value at all. the co-op mode is also just ok. i dont exactly regret picking it up, but for $60, its not all that. if they could have just made the combat deeper with combo's and harder-to-pull-off executions, then added in a bit more interesting platforming elements to it, i think it ...
people forget, each company only made so many units anyway...therefore, they could release wherever they wanted, and still sell the same amount. clearly MS cut back territories to better compete in key markets. no one will argue that ps4 has a clear advantage, but im sick of everyone getting on here and acting like marketing analysts. lets just wait and see how big a diff there is when confirmed numbers are published in a few weeks/months. even then, there are years to go. and even further......
i'd be all for a trilogy disc at 1080/60. to think that collection wouldn't be multiplat would be ludicrous though.any new game in gears would likely be multiplat if no longer exclusive.
while ps4 may be more powerful, they are similar enough that by the time one begins to fell "outdated", so will the other. be realistic here.
when talking about racing games, yes, i would rather 1080/60. also, forza still looks great. driveclub is coming along nicely, though.
im sorry, but you need to play a track with some better lighting effects, and also when you see both games up close on a 1080p plasma, trust me the difference is there for sure. I get that the game might not quite blow everyone's mind, especially if you have a high end pc, but seriously, unless you see it up close and get a better example, it is not a fair comparison
this video does no justice. i have done my own comparisons and the difference is huge. there are some issues with forza 5, to be fair, but its is a nice leap. this track also doesnt show a lot of the environmental diffs that exist with lighting etc. but mainly just not a great video or a great choice of track. also, i bet comparing gt6 to driveclub will be equally as "unimpressive".
lol 6.5. this entire review and the subsequent discussion is one big troll fest. sure, the content may be a bit lite, but really..6.5? no.
shit, send me it then. This sucks
old vid, old news. and the diff isnt serious enough to have a big impact...IMO. also, xbox one simply doesnt lag for other shooters like cod, making it my fps system of choice. my ps4 will be there mostly for the exclusives
