I can at least say this, my kinect turned on at first, but post update it just says "kinect unplugged"...it is indeed plugged in. I really hope i dont have to send my console in for this man

I do not even want to start arguing over the subjective nature of these consoles, or the spec, or anything else. I do want to add though, that I kinda like the design of the xbox one. Something about the utilitarian, brawny, yet sleek look of it is just sort of cool...and at least it is quiet. What I will say for sure is that had they been able to get this console to look exactly the same as it does now, just at around the same size of the ps4, it would look incredible. I just think the boxy...
I actually dont mind paying for the kinect, seems cool enough. but i think its too bad the whole tv thing isnt gonna be usable for me (i wont take the hit to signal quality or lose surround-$2500 audio system and i use it for everything i watch, tv included). i hope over time these issues can be fixed. but im amped for thurs night and cant wait to play the launch games and eventually titanfall.

i don't agree with the way they treat employees, but if my system is f'ed up, and it was their doing, i will fly there in a gyrocopter with a red cut sleeve on and single handedly fist punch each one of them until they loose touch with reality.
funny you say that, because i thought it looked very nice in all of the vids ive seen, this included. the lighting is actually quite nice too, some of the rays that break through the trees toward the end there, nice stuff. I also think this game has a clean, detailed look. the interiors are the best iv'e seen yet, and the reflections on the hood and in the windshield are quite accurate. there is deff some AA issues though. I'll have to wait and see come this thurs. But i know this gam...
Seriously, no one can deny that this game has come along very nicely since e3. I somehow figure this will average somewhere around an 8/10 and offer up a solid, fun, beautiful hack and slash. For a launch game, I am more than pleased with what I have seen. I just hope MS either purchases the francise or orders a sequel, as my mouth waters at the possibility of what can be done with a few more years experience.
this moron says consoles "dont offer much more than a combination of a phone/tablet and a cheap tv device" haha. let me see you play a serious multiplayer game on tablet, especially over 4g. also, show me a cutting edge uncharted or halo on a phone. thats what i thought
At the very least, this seems like fun way to switch up my online play a bit. I am starting this gen with xbox one on nov. 22 and do not have a gaming pc, but i should be able to nab ps4 by march (i got one on the 15th from amazon and then cancelled out of guilt..too much school work!! what an idiot). anyways, I would imagine that with the necessity of publishers gone, we should see this title and other f2p make their way over to xblive soon enough.
i disagree. sony has picked up great 1st party talent, and they have always been great to 3rd party devs. so yes, there has been a plethora of great titles on sony platforms, ranging from different to standard triple A, and from big names to small. that being said, i do not think that their lack of a sort of "mascot" can be attributed to their creativity in other areas. just doesnt seem to make much sense. if anything, it's because they have been able to rely on their huge libra...
I payed of my console today and some games, and when i traded up to the xbox one version of ghosts, they actually had the game in stock. so i got it home and checked out the case. couldn't care less if the disc is on the left. i dont know why they did it, but it doesnt matter.
for anyone who may be concerned, the plastic ring that the disc snaps onto actually touches the right side of the cover when closed, so the disc will not "dislodge" and float around. again...
i think this all needs to stop, i'd rather stare at the sun for an hour than play indie games, for the most part. and blow is a stuck-up weirdo who feels the need to tell me what i should play. sorry i dont have time to pilot some big headed dweeb through a multitude of easily solved puzzles. now we are left with a ton of terrible games that follow suit and thousands of ppl who feel as if these games are the second coming. no thanks
i never had one either, and i regret that till this day, at the very least, i should have gotten xbox as it had great online shooters. but i was blinded by nintendo fanboyism back then. gamecube was great, but looking back, i dont know why i never pursued a more hardcore system like ps2. i'll most likely never get the chance to experience many of those games, but i do not regret the experiences i had on gamecube. this is why i now find a way to get all systems and not miss out on anything...

yikes. i would think it is just isolated, as all products are bound to suffer from some level of hardware failure. as long as sony fixes the consoles it ok i guess. but i sure hope it wont be an issue going forward.
I think now that one console is out, and everyone else is almost there, everyone just wants to shut up and have fun.. the marketing war has just begun, but now that these things are here, i think people will begin to settle in and just enjoy it. Now if only we can resist the DF comparisons to come....
