Seriously...I'll be real pissed if I miss this. At least me and my brother can each apply and maybe at least one will make it. The alpha period was torture.
To me, it is a full-blown joke for anyone to say the xbox one is dead, or will die. Regardless of where they go with price, I think it is clear at this point that xbox is alive an well. The major disappointment here is that MS really came such a long way last generation, only to seemingly hand back the lead to sony this time.
The console should be fine, but it is up to MS how aggressive they want to be in trying to match sony. There is a lot of time to go, and MS seems to be ...
Well said. What people need to understand is that it is not entirely impossible for many of the moderately demanding games to hit 1080/60 on x1...just that devs need time to figure out clever work-arounds to do so. Of course, not all devs have the resources to this, and at the moment it seems many of the early titles have suffered this fate.
At the end of the day, all you can really ask for at this point is that x1 gradually begins to match the ps4's performance more fre...
no real frame rate issues for me. game was worth a play through. to be fair, it was not as awful as everyone makes it out to be...still, it sure wasnt all that great either. i think with more dev time they could make a decent sequel. need varied characters and deeper combat. maybe some platforming to.
basic yes, but i think it could be just enough to shake up a winning formula. all the gameplay i see looks so fluid and it just seems like a really fun game.
destiny deff has my interest as well...it seems a lot like halo, but the way you interact with the world is a much more ambitious idea.
No Metroid Prime Phendrana!? No Donkey Kong Country various snow levels!? No Banjo Kazooie Freezeezy Peek!? How dare you??!!
still?
how much?
my rich ass uncle had cd-i and 3do back in the day...impressive tech, but way too expensive to justify the experience when hardcore gamer's could have nintendo/sega consoles for 1/3 of the price...
haha, what's wrong with people?
why would anyone disagree with this?? it is simply an industry vet giving props when it is due. if he had said something negative he would have gotten ripped...damned if ya do, damned if ya don't.
besides, this just goes to show you that there are people at MS who appreciate the value of creative 1st party studios. w. some relatively big changes recently at MS and xbox being a big part of their future, i would like to think we will see them push for more ambitious and cre...
Very happy to hear they are already adding some of the missing feature we all wanted, and also quickly improving the party system. I have found it to work fine, it was just better on 360...i knew the improvements would come.
I need to figure out how to do this. Most of my collection is in iTunes, but I am sure i can get it over to skydrive and play through xbox music? Really not great with computers. The streaming library is pretty awesome though. Also, as far as listening while you play, this feature currently does not work, as there is no way to turn down the game's music, so you will just hear both at the same time. I am sure they will fix this soon though. It is a nice feature for racing games and the lik...
I always use xbox music, for the price, it is a great way to access plenty of music, fast and easy. I even use it on my phone as well. Sony's music unlimited is pretty good too. It isn't just about listening while you play, but also about using the service any other time.
And as far as ps4 launching without mp3 support...really no big deal, just a big surprise considering sony's history.
I am really wondering how the beta will work for xbox one. Will it just be a simple download available to anyone right from the store?
I will be really pissed if I miss this somehow. They did confirm that no pre-order is necessary right?..I didn't bother to pre-order because I just want to download it day 1.
As a side note, I really wish sony/MS would announce something soon that will allow us to pre-download games so when the street date breaks, we can ...
C'mon man, don't be a troll. Sure the game may run at a better res, but it won't use a diff engine or have more players. Not only would they try to have at least some form of parity between the two versions, they already stated that 6v6 was intentional, and had nothing to do with the hardware. PS4 is not that much more powerful where you suddenly gain the ability to add more players. To be fair, BF4 looks pretty good on xbox one...and while that game may have a better res and some...
For those who have only ps4, hang in there, this franchise will come...even if it is not the first installment. Respawn owns the rights, and with EA clearly missing out on plenty of extra sales, they will not stay exclusive. I will likely never play titanfall on my ps4, simply because my friends are all on xbox one, but I am sure it will come to sony's platform, and prob even run at a better res.
MS will surely continue to find ways to attract fans to their platform with...
I am amped for second son. But idk that it is really the big system seller. It should be pretty big though. If anything ps4 will continue to outsell just because of the massive momentum sony has built and the demand is still high.
yep, a game like this should be 3rd person. I kind of figured it would be anyhow.
yawn...not for the game, but for the vid. and wheres the beta info?
