This would make sense, but doesn't kinect have it's own processor on board? and also the system has, at the moment, some power reserved specifically for kinect. so i wonder if there's any excuse. either way, if it at least functions well for basic use i'll be ok with it

Upscaled depending on the game. The system is capable of 1080p/60 frames, so why not advertise it? I think this is my last post here. I agree. I think the main thing about the next gen is that games will look better, a lot better. So while we should expect to see many 60fps games, it shouldn't be too big a deal when some games do not achieve this.

As a console gamer I have always noticed this difference BIG TIME when going from CoD to Battlefield. I can't argue that 60 frames isn't noticeably smoother, but I can argue that most people wouldn't know or care unless they swtiched back and for between 2 similair games in a short time span or play games at 60 frames very often.

Honestly from what I have seen, Dead Rising 3 is, at the very least, an impressive launch title. People keep coming out with all these claims/arguments about resolution etc., but in the end the game just plain looks good. This story just reiterates how "next-gen" this game can be. It's too soon to start praising the game too much, but from what we are seeing and being told, there's no reason this can't be an awesome launch title.

Maybe I haven't read up enough on it, but i wonder how it works when playing a game like cod or splinter cell where you are required to make use of the face buttons while simultaneously moving forward. This controller seems like it would force you to stop directional momentum in order to access x/y. How could you walk and reload? I hope this question makes sense, and does anyone have any feedback?

I have not seen any real solid indication of the resolution for xbox one version. It will be 60fps confirmed for now. I would say that as much as I hope for 1080p, I won't be surprised nor disappointed should they give us some number less than that. I would expect something above 720 but who knows. Also I've heard that the One will upscale all games to 1080, and while that's not the same as native, it should still look great...especially on sub-50" screens
