ha, yea that is what sucks, if you can only afford one console, your gonna miss out. i am grateful to be able to own both. quantum looks really promising. glad to see xbox start to push some more big exclusives with new and different concepts. now that we have started to see some big things from ms, im really amped for 2014 and beyond. maybe off topic, but i get a partial everytime i think about a next-gen uncharted, too bad they missed the show, but at least there's always e3.

ps4 i assume? not trolling here, but i havent lagged or seen host migration on my x1 yet. the cloud-based servers are a dream!
on my 360 i had what seemed to be servers 30% of the time. my friends on 360 still have the issue.

I agree that may be the case. But it will be dumped at EA's doorstep, not Zampella (well, not directly at least). It is tough to tell if this will remain exclusive though. In the case of Gears, while it was huge, I do not think it had the same mass appeal that FPS games can have when implemented correctly.
Everyone acts like there is thousands of console all over the place. Over here in NY my brother and friend are having trouble getting one at retailers. I did find one on amazon yesterday, and best buy through a few up on their site for a bit but they quickly sold. Other than that, it is very much a random luck type of thing to get one. So while I am sure some stores in some areas may have 1 or 2, or even 10, generally speaking, they are more or less sold out. I do not know why this matter so ...
I get what you mean, but it is a bit to cut and dry. Gaming on xbox one is not "secondary". After spending a few weeks with mine, I can say this for sure. Even if the ps4 focuses more on games, it is because it simply focuses less on other things. What I am trying to say is that, though MS obviously focused on media, gaming on either console is still very much comparable and subjective.

You are right, next year will really kick off next-gen. But if you are like me, and you pre-ordered the console, then why not own it now? To be fair, if this guy is saying you should wait, his reasons seem to coincide with waiting on next-gen in general (less games etc.), and not just xbox one. Also, he lists a relatively uncommon problem that most of us do not have (hidden cable box) as a reason to wait...that is like me saying "hey everyone, I do not have a cable box at all, so you should all just wait before you buy it". Nice list. Man I hope a new banjo game comes out for xbox one. It should just be a direct sequel to the older games, and just have bigger, more beautiful environments.
I get what you are saying, though I still love the franchise. Anyways, I think what he means is that devs shouldn't take out feature that people loved just to make way for new ones...but instead should try to make some room for both old and new styles, so to speak. At least that's what I take from this.
Side note: I think blacklist was a step back in the right direction after conviction.

one way or the other, i have, no lie, not suffered one disconnect, one host migration, or even any "wtf" moments, since getting my xbox 1 day 1, and i put in around 20 hrs or so of gameplay on cod since getting it. but i truly was just saying.
