I can respect, going off of the xbox one's specs, that this game would run sub 1080p, and the 30 frames is acceptable for a game with this many zombies on screen. Anyone who plays knows how crazy it can get when you are driving through a crowded street.
Problem here is that the game is not all that visually impressive overall (the lighting and textures are at least a step up from last gen open-world games). So I would have to think that at the very least the xbox one shou...
w.e., i just know i cannot wait for a new UC. I just got my ps4, it will arrive at my house on jan 28th. yea boy. Now i got my xb1/ps4 combo ready to rock for 2014.
Once I get my PS4, I am not sure if I will get this. I only say this because I hardly played Forza 5 yet, so I wouldn't rush out to get a new racer, just yet. Regardless, anyone who does not see how far this game has come, or how great it looks, is probably just a fanboy or really high on some hallucinogen.
I guess I would have to wait and see how it plays to really judge it, but the visuals seem top notch. I personally wish turn10 could have delayed forza 5, but the sta...
once the units are shipped, capcom made their money. the rest is profit margin for the retailers. sure, it may not have reached 1 million consumers yet, but if they shipped that amount to date, it surely will. no need to be nit-picky and pessimistic.
I cannot argue what a dev is saying, they know much more than do I. But I am willing to bet you anything that any game on the ps4 could be handled by the xb1, even if it meant lower frames or resolution. I just do not believe that suddenly we have this game that cannot work on xb1, where all major AAA titles, even those promised to be gorundbreaking both in scale and graphics (witcher 3 etc.) can be done on both consoles. I am so sick of reading this garbage flame bait idiocracy.

Yea i always suspected that is would have something to do with that. I guess they wanna start the hype train as soon as they can and then when it gets delayed, at least people have it in their minds. They usually deliver on some level though, so I here's hoping
@ashunderfire86, i agree. I think this seems like prime delay material. If it makes the game better...delay it. I also think that ubisoft seems to delay most of their AAA titles now a days (splinter cell conviction and blacklist, rainbow six, watch dogs..to name a few). It generally seems as though the delays are well worth it, though I wonder what is up at ubisoft..is it strategy to build hype? are they horrible at predicting release windows? IDK, but i just hope when this game does release,...
While I would imagine nintendo must be starting to realize that their next console needs ample power and robust connectivity across one account, this all just sounds like wishful thinking in the part of a hopeful nintendo fan.
I doubt they are looking to drop wii U so quickly. could it be that they are looking to run their console "generation" on a different schedule than MS/Sony? Release maybe in 2 years or so? I dont know that it is a good idea, but the thought o...
I think he meant that those who cannot play it yet are hurting. People like me, who wish they could play it and cannot, until march. Also, the graphics seem to be solid, though they already stated that the alpha has texture-res of 25%. And just because the usual suspects on n4g have "written it off", does not mean that the game has lost any steam. I see the comments, and the only ones who seem to talk badly at all are those who still feel they need to see proof in the retail game, a...
well, they still have about 5 left for devs to use, plus the esram. Depends on what you mean by "long haul". Honestly, I agree, but overall there most likely will be enough to get by on for some time so long as devs efficiently utilize the esram. either way i would have loved to see MS include more ram, as ddr3 is cheap and easy to find. My point here is that on the console front, I think xbone should be able to hold its own with what it has been given, even if it does equate to low...
This was just a better way of saying that anything they show us will be real gameplay, and that the game itself shouldn't be a nasty looking mess on wiiU. To be fair, the wiiU is a bit more powerful than ps3/360, and if they can get it too be on par with GT6 than owners of that console should be more than happy...so long as the core gameplay truly does remain intact. Anyone who would believe that wiiU would produce the kind of graphical fidelity seen in the vids/screens is prob just on du...
haha, they have some very diff ideas on what normal is over there
some of those are just horrible, i love it. gotta love the pole position, so funny how they show this insane action then they show the gameplay...amazes me that years ago that was cutting edge. we've come quite far my friends. and that ps3 baby is gonna haunt my dreams
pretty interesting stuff actually. sounds cool. ill have to keep it in mind when a console version is released. so your saying there would be about 50-60 players at any one time? i just dont get how the planned base building feature would work. like when you quit and play on a new server with different people, what happens if you both had a base in the same spot? basically, i dont get how the game keeps all these things in check across various players/ thanks for the info, btw.
This is fun? I don't get it. I don't get how people have the time for this stuff.
Edit: What I really mean is that what is the sense in starting a game and just getting "virtually robbed"? What happens next? And how would you start again if you die? Like if one of those gang members dies, how does he reunite with the gang?
I do not really understand how MMO games work. Is there servers with a set number of players? For instance, maybe seve...
but i get shut down for trolling, lolz dudezo
this looks awful
more giant maps with watered down action spread out across open areas with oddly placed flank routes...yay!!!
I'll take this guy serious when he learns proper grammar and English.
I agree about the frame rate drops...it shouldn't happen but it is not all that noticeable. Anyone who has played the game knows that it really only happens when driving through large crowds of zombies, and even then it is almost masked by the fact that the vehicle slows down considerably at that point anyways.
