Dr3 wasn't a big jump, but for open world, the lighting and texture res was deff a step up, as was the amount of zombies. Frame rate was just fine in the context of the game, but deff slowed often. Other than that, yes, the game was pretty close to 360. It was ported over though, and I don't think anyone expected it to blow minds. Game was very fun still.

So cynical. The idea is that they were pretty prompt on getting that fixed. Now I put ghosts side by side with the ps4 version and it deff looks closer. Just one example, but the over sharpened image really hurt the x1s ability to properly upscale the image. Just looks a bit better now. This deff is big news, in the right context. I have to say, ps4 still outputs the better image though, hands down.

There are some other more "ambitious" titles ahead...2 off the top of my head are sunset overdive and quantum break. Now we need to wait and see how these games actually are. There are other things on the horizon, but games like Titanfall, should it live up to the hype, tend to be accessible and easy to enjoy, and therefore tend to move units.

The PC crowd is a creative bunch. I think this is pretty awesome. Hopefully he will find a way to get some beefier components in there over time. Nice though. Poor NES though...

Ps4 should see an even greater amount of games running 1080/60, and their memory set up surely allows for that. But do not be surprised when more demanding games down the line begin to run on lower resolutions, even on ps4. Battlefield already needed to run at 900.
There is much more than just resolution to be talked about and you know it...it should be 1080 yes, but if not that doesn't mean the game can't look much better still.
Anyways, just because you are not amped for it does not mean the hype isn't real. I always love when people comment as if their single opinion is the way we should all feel.
