great to hear its not just a resolution bump.
Yup. And the fact that they changed the aspect ratio to 1.8:5 was also to make it more cinematic but a secret bonus is that it has less vertical lines as well. It's actually around 1920x800 as opposed to 1920x1080.
The game isn't true 1080p on ps4. They changed the aspect ratio so that it black bars on 16:9. It's rendering less pixels (I believe 800 vertical not 1080). They said it was to make it feel more cinematic but I know for a fact it was to render less pixels. The Order literally was the title chosen to show the power of the ps4 and make the most impressive graphics possible (well done there) but they also used a lot of tricks like the aspect ratio, having very limited level design intera...
Haha yes it will :)
@sactownn
NFS is multiplat and drive club (a ps4 game) was used to compare as a graphical bar to reach. Step off with the ms bs. If I got this game it would be on ps4 anyway as Im already stocked up on X1 racers.
Favorite track. The straight at the end is always a nail biter when playing friends.
I've actually already seen two tracks on it in person (haven't played). The graphics are really good. Sit down and breathe in a bag and count to ten. You can still like drive club and I won't give one .......
graphics are great. looks at least as good as drive club but with all of the car customization and flexibility in gameplay that drive club lacks. i hope its not always night and everything is always not always wet though. looks cool but will be annoying if its always like that. i don't get into arcade racers that much but this looks fun.
you sound mad...
i have an xbox and i subscribed to it, then i cancelled it. it was cool. just not a lot of ea games I'm into it turns out. it is a good service though and good value. i could flip the script and say ps4 fanboys are just hating on xbox fanboys for enjoying a service that they don't have access to on ps4. sounds more defensive than anything... more importantly its kinda stupid isn't it? how about lets call it like it is... its a service on xbox only and some people like it and ...
you do also get a bunch of free games to play and invitations to betas etc as well
seems like a bit of an unnecessarily inflammatory comment... good for them though if its working.
yeah. agreed. they try to make everyone feel this grand impact as if the more dramatic the message, the more people will care. to me it seems like a cry for attention. if you really want to give up gaming you just stop playing. you don't write a whole article threatening to.
as for dlc... its here to stay. love it or hate it. like everything it has good and bad things. i got into this debate with a game producer with a few major studios on his resume.
im not entirely sure why i would want my ps4 attached to the wall, but to each their own i guess. i'd have to have wire insert tunnels put into the walls because the hanging cords would drive me crazy.
to the disagrees, how about this:
its not technically stunning but it is beautifully art directed
people complained about titanfall not having a real single player campaign but to be honest, i didn't miss it. it also made me realize that playing in single player compaign in COD was merely a 4-5 hour formality to get the most out of the game and was never thought about again.
I don't think swbf needs a single player for this reason. Plus it could be pretty easy to screw up a star wars game single player as there would be a lot of expectations on the story and so...
agreed. a lot of people on here drive me freaking crazy - especially when it comes to xbox related things i've noticed.
i wouldn't say it looks stunning, but it does look interesting. i'd give it a go most likely.
man i am so freakin' amped for this game. can not wait.
its a war in terms of features and versatility. the ps4 has more sales but to me its all built on hype and brand. i own both consoles. the ps4 has basically sat mostly stagnant in comparison while the xbox has practically transformed into a different, more versatile machine. what i read on the internet about how amazing the ps4 is and what i get at home with my ps4 are two different things.
i definitely enjoy it, but i honestly think the xbox is better in a lot of ways. it multi...
