Did he also do the OST for the second game? Because some of its tracks and sound design in general was pretty memorable.
Certain design related aspects are simply not restrained by their age or time. With the advent of save files in games, devs started quietly removing consequences for dying in games. Now, that basic idea of there being a downside to death is making a comeback in a way or another in different genres.
The new Ratchet and Clank is very similar to the original games, if we dont count all the changes that improves the fluidity of movement and controls, and yet the new Ratchet and...
Not exactly. Another huge deal breaker is going to be the AI of Trico. If they cant nail it, it will take away from the experience. I believe they have managed to do that, since that was the major factor that kept the development slow. After so much time, they must be done with it.
Maybe you are confused by Mr Ueda leaving Sony behind, because GENDesign (his new studio) are going to push new ideas and games in the future too.
Technically Team Ico stopped being Team Ico a while ago, and they have been absorbed into the Japan Studio.
Meanwhile about 1/3 of Shadow of the Colossus team left and formed 2 studios. One is GENDesign, other I cant remember, but they are already working on a indie game for PC.
From what I h...
The whole preview part paints an incredibly dark picture compared to what they actually say in the article. They even say that people who are fans of their games, will be satisfied after the 9 year wait. Does not match with the preview at all...
I went in completely blind, thought it was a semi horror game based on the cover, went around 30 minutes expecting something to happen, but then realized it was, probably somewhat appropriately called, a "walking simulator" in a house, with a story.
To this day, I dont really see the point in making this story a game. I would have loved to listen it in a audio book or video format since I do think the story progression was good and they had nice amount of detail i...
Dying LIght and Mad Max are games that I have been planning on to getting, but I havent gotten around buying them.
Dying Light has been semi interesting ever since the release, and the demo I played like 6 months away was very cool.
Mad Max was just generally really decent looking.
Pisses me off that all the retailers seem to sell this thing for 80€, but regardless its sold out almost everywhere.
Gotta wait for a while, I guess.
From what I heard, its a form of upscaling, but upscaling has little to no impact to the image quality since you cant really get more detail from a lesser resolution regardless if you display it in 1080p, or 4k. Checkerboard rendering does use technological trickery to artificially construct a higher resolution image from a smaller source (and combining previous and coming framebuffer data or something, so the detail just doesnt come out of nowhere).
So, creating a higher r...
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
They have had a decent amount of advertisements for it, though. I think a youtube ad was rolling at some point after the E3. They have also released new gameplay and allowed journos to try it out, PewDiePie got the demo/review copy a month ago, and some people in reddit have pointed out that there are even some The Last Guardian billboards and bus ads around.
They said that they wanted the game to sell more than Team Icos previous games, but they still arent expecting like....

If this game is anything as great as their previous games, Im going to feel really shitty about not jumping on the Collectors Edition bandwagon.
Grasping at straws, topical (and cashing in on it), and barely enough gaming related.
The article also ignores that this sort of behavior basicly occurs everywhere. Even around Clinton who was as fake as it gets.
So TL;DR, tribalism, blind loyalism doesnt pay off and is irrational, companies dont give a sht, nothing new, nothing exclusive to gaming, or political ideologies.
Thats what they promised a while ago. Is this update in effect now? Bummer, since my phone goes to the warranty repair, so I cant try it for the next 2-3 weeks.
Mario and Luigi series. They are lighthearted turn based RPG games. Havent played any of the newer ones, but the first one in the series (on Gameboy Advance) was great.
I hope thats the case. A nice affordable handheld unit would be cool, and ever since GBA Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga I have been longing to get my hands on the DS/3DS iterations.
Though, is it only for the black friday sale? A previous article said its for black friday, and the tweet in this one mentions black friday, but doesnt confirm that this is a new model with a permanent 100$\€ price.
I was going to comment, when are they going to do something with that damn demo that doubled in file size, but showed almost no new content.
Though, it seems that they did hint about that at the end of the trailer.
That statement I dont quite agree with. It really does depend on what you look for in your Dragonball games, but Xenoverse games are much more focused on multiplayer brawls and quests/RPG elements. Not exactly what I appreciate the most in my DB games. Im still leaning towards Tenkaichi games because of their high mobility and speed which even the Raging Blast games ditched, but even if Tenkaichi games were brought back, they would need some shaping up since the Tenkaichi formula really isnt ...
Now, how about a Megaman X collection, Capcom? There was one for PS2, but it was only in NTSC, so Euro peeps couldnt play it.
I would buy the sht out of that.
