Lmao, or people could just piss off, because that was hilarious!
Oh? Aragami got a physical release too? Why the hell havent I heard about this? Sale or not, if I find it, I'll get it!
Kinda wish that they had the original Ghost Recon games on sale on steam, or if they had them as PS2 classics on the PS3, since I have again started playing them here and there. Even got RS: Raven Shield working again on my PC.
Siege is pretty great, though. Bought it like a month or two ago, and I have spent a decent amount of time playing it.
I remember reading from some news comment sections people saying that japanese didnt exactly fall in love with the game. For the life of me, I just cant remember what was the reason for that...
I think it had something to do with the RPG elements being too light or not hard enough?
So, again, is this like a temporary things? They havent really been explicit if this is only for black friday, and some sites have given mixed information about it.
Lolgon
There were always paid expansions for games, but they were just much more larger. Its like, we now have a hybrid of patched in content and expansion packs for DLCs.
All the old Doom and Quake games had paid expansion packs.
I would rather enjoy going back to that setup, to see companies make some actually good expansions if they want to milk us.
The title and premise are pretty lolzy, but alright, I'll keep an eye out for this.
I think there has already been a mild downgrade, but I dont know if that shot is before or after.
The downgrade wasnt massive, but I do think it was draw distance (foliage, geometry, object LOD etc) related.
Regardless, yeah, it does look pretty good.
I see... your other comment opened your thoughts a little better.
The thing is, Ubisoft seems to be trying to distinguish Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon even more than before.
The shtty thing is, that both series had a single player, coop and a competitive multiplayer playerbase to them.
Rainbow Six has almost abandoned the folks who want good Terrorist Hunt action in solo and coop, and now focus on the multiplayer aspect (which is still g...
Yeah, it kinda felt meh. I didnt like awful alot of the controls of different modes, the routes seemed sort of boring and ended really quick, and jumping from stuff didnt feel really satisfying.
Though I dont like sports games that much, and know nothing about snowboarding. I guess they tried to make some stuff feel more down to earth than crazy.
On another note, I kind of want to play SSX3 again.
@bouzebbal
Thats very... odd way of thinking.
Like, Team Icos games are kind of odd, since they are story/character interaction driven, developed to appeal to non-gamers, or people who want a very non traditional games. Ico was very basic when it comes to its gameplay and Shadow of the Colossus was more focused on traditional thrill seeking gamers with a great mix of their own design concepts.
Their approach with TLG is very similar to Ico's....
Oh, it will definitively sell over a million, due to the legacy and following of their previous games, and a very loyal fanbase.
Sony has said that they do want more sales with this game, but I dont think they expect massive multimillion numbers. I doubt that the development costs were astronimical either, because when the game was stuck, they kept only doing coding work with a small team for few years, and kept a 2 year hiatus.
I expect 1.5-2.5 mil copie...
Please staph, I cant take all these spoilers!
Oh, thats pretty sad. I do have the intention of picking it up at some point since the beta was pretty fun. 20k-30k is a very decent number of active players.
I actually feel that the hype has died down to acceptable levels. Around 2012-13 the hype was unreal! Whenever anything TLG related came out, the news article almost always shot up to the hottest spot here in N4G. It was treated almost like it was some sort of savior of gaming and a legend that would be the best system seller ever.
Now, I dont really see many people overly hyping it. Most just say how they are excited and cant wait, but dont go around telling others that it...
So, is it actually a downgrade, or did they upgrade the visuals too much/went overboard with supersampling (higher resolution downsampled to 1080p to basicly reduced jaggies)?
Too often people who play on standard 1080p displays havent taken into account that the supersampling is a performance hog, when they say the game runs worse. Its not because they did a shtty job at porting, but because they overestimated how large of a supersampling they can do.

I will be pissed if this doesnt get updated to other platforms at some point. I get a game having exclusive content due to release policies of Sony and MS for their networks, but simply having a worse version doesnt quite sit well with me.
Still keeping fingers crossed for a physical release at some point, when they finaly manage to update the other version on par with XB1 release.
Based on what I have heard about RDR, and the idea of it getting ported to PC, I doubt that a remaster is going to happen either.
Basicly, I heard they didnt port the original RDR to PC because it's development was chaotic, and the game code was a mess with a ton of rubbish left behind. If they were to make a proper PC port, the code would need so much cleaning up that it would be a nightmare.
Same would apply to a remastering of RDR, since remasters ...
I dont think they have ever laid out the reasons plain as day, but they have told enough for us.
Basicly, their team was on a smaller side, and they had problems to get the graphical fidelity to what they wanted alongside with Tricos AI running. PS3 simply didnt have enough grunt to accomodate the AI and graphics, unless they were ready to downgrade something. AI can be very heavy for the machine, especially when its supposed to act and behave as naturally as possible. Ueda...
