I hope they balance the difficulty better this time, unlike in Cyber Sleuth, where the difficulty was very inconsistent, and some bosses were absurdly hard.
So, they are doing a vinyl, but still are cheap/dont give enough of a sht to put a CD in the Collectors Edition?
I mean... I would love to buy this, but I dont have a vinyl player...
For anyone wondering/not reading the article, its also getting a PS4 retail/physical release, which is awesome.
Instant buy for me in this case. More great indies need a physical release
Hey! Who let the Sonic Twitter guy into the studio?
Looks a little rough around the edges visually, but Im digging the gameplay/feel.
@sullynathan
Beta wasnt a "decent chunk" of the game. It was pretty much 2 main levels and 1 optional, while the screen was littered with more locations, and it looked like there were 3 branching paths that led off screen to other parts of the land.
What Im worried about, are the amount of quality bosses the game will have. If every main level has a boss at the end (and most if not all side levels), how many of them will be throwaways? The first...
It depends who plays the Soulsborne games.
My first Dark Souls 1 playthrough took 80 hours IIRC, and Dark Souls 2 whopping 100 hours, both without their DLC packs.
I basicly played Bloodborne first, DaS1 seconds, and DaS2 last.
And when it comes to Nioh, in Alpha I didnt even finish the map during the whole Alpha period, while in Beta I cleared it relatively fast.
I legit thought Gone Home was a horror game when I first downloaded it.
Its not garbage, but I would have enjoyed the experience much more in a video form rather than videogame form.
@ChronoJoe
Furi
I had noticed it before release and was mildly interested, but then it came to PS+, and Im glad I got to play it so early, because I would seriously consider it my personal GotY nominee.
I think this is okay. They mentioned the whole deleted tweet thing. I saw some folks at reddit who were confused about the deletion.
Not that its anything significant, since the first news reported on Shu's tweet which was not the one that got deleted.
Ehh, Dark Souls 3 is great fun, but I kinda feel that its not enough to be a "Game of the Year" winner. Maybe playing all of the Soulsborne games has numbed me, but it kind of needed to be better.
Its definitely a worthy nomination, but idk...
Edit. Welp, heres an essay about them games.
Well... these games are kind of weird, since they dont straight fall under any particular genre. Ico was pretty much ahead of its time, by intergrating a map that was a completely interconnected castle with sort of screen to screen transistions (sort of reminding me of point and click adventure games), ambiguous story telling that was pretty unseen back in 2001, and the atmosphere was in its own way mysterious and good looking. A...
One website had PS VR for 999.99€ before there was any official price. Sometimes websites just put up some arbitrary overestimates of the actual price.
According to fanfics, she's that, and probably everything else too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I dont really like westerners (or the theme of wild west), but I really enjoyed playing RDR. It was pretty cool and atmospheric.
The only thing I didnt like was the awkward aiming (which was probably due to too large deadzone in the analogs), but if they are allowing the same degree of customization as GTA5 to the controls in this one, Im sure it wont be a problem at all.
Still havent gotten around finishing it, but I'll probably do so before getting ...
PS2 port, NOW!
No physical release? Damn
Original Amnesia was pretty good, but I never got around finishing it (and it was not because the game was "too scary" for me)
Lol, that wouldnt take much.
But Im glad that its much more stable.
Someone pointed out that this sect of Rockstar studios (Sandiago) never does PC ports.
It would be pretty crazy if they decide to not do a PC port, considering how crazy well GTA 5 has sold on PC.
Personally, I think they want to do a PC release later to maximize profits that would come with cross purchases (people who own consoles and gaming PCs, buy first on console, then on PC)
Its on the shorter end (especially for veterans), but Im not sure about it being so hugely disappointing. Besides, since DLC2 will be a direct continuation, the first one has set up a pretty interesting premise (certain NPC dialog after the final boss).
