I think the bigger problem here is the fact that Facebook is being used to pose a question that is better answered without it. Then again every question is best answered without Facebook.
I only get upset with reviews when they compare a game to something entirely unrelated, give a high score to a game solely because of its popularity, and complain about the difficulty of the game.
I still remember a video of a game reviewer complaining about Nier because he couldn't find where a certain fish was located (even though it told him in the game where to go). The whole video was him complaining about it and saying how the game was broken and how bad it was. Cu...
Can't wait for this game. For anyone who owns a PS3 and hasn't played a Rune Factory game before, you really need to check this out if you like action RPGs like the Tales series.
Thanks for listing them out. A lot of people don't realize just how many Street Fighter games there really are because they're only numbered up to four, which isn't an accurate way of counting them.
@oohWii
I've already stated my nationality and the fact that I don't own an Xbox360, so please don't generalize an entire nation. Also, the Xbox360 system itself is made in China, as are most electronic devices, not the United States.
Both the PS3 and the Wii have sold well all across the globe and yet the 360 is having trouble in Japan. While you are entitled to your opinion that it doesn't matter I'm sure that Microsoft would rather have a console that sold well in Japan compared to the situation that they have now. They even developed a character specifically for Japan in an attempt to garner more sales.
Even though the population of Japan is smaller than the US there is the idea of acceptance i...
@Arthas
Since the beginning of the video game industry we've had hard copies of games. From the days of the Atari to now people could buy a game, lend it to their friend, trade with their friends, or sell them if they didn't want them anymore. It hasn't killed the industry yet, but now all of a sudden you're a "cancer on the industry" if you do the same thing people have been doing for almost 40 years now?
Stop buying in to the idea ...
I think more people bought Catherine because it was from Atlus, and more specifically the Persona Team, than because of the sexually themed advertising, but the people who bought it because of that helped out sales too.
Arc Rise Fantasia is pretty good gameplay wise, but the voice acting is terrible.
Yeah, BioWare, especially since you've stopped making them./s
NT has changed more than just Dante's look, and while you're correct in the fact that it was CAPCOM who pushed the change NT is still going to get hate just because they're the ones who are making the game.
I admit I'm starting to feel a little sorry for NT because they were asked to do this to DmC and now everyone is bashing them. Their games were never anything special in my opinion, but that doesn't mean that they won't make a great game in the fut...
The only ones I can think of that are Japanese are CAPCOM and to a certain extent SE, although I think SE is more or less just trying to figure out this gen rather than deliberately ignoring their fans. Konami really hasn't upset anyone until now.
After hearing from BioWare about DA2 and Ninja Theory about DmC I think you can take out "Japanese". A lot of developers don't listen to what the consumers want.
I'm in the same boat as you. I've seen Dante over the years but I'd never played the games before so I picked up DMC4 and DMC3:SE. I'm playing DMC3 first and it's fast paced and pretty difficult, but then again I'm still getting the hang of it. I laughed after I died over and over and the screen said "Easy Mode is now available", but my pride won't let me switch the difficulty.
I'm really liking what I've played so far, and while...
I usually used tranquilizers because his camo is pretty useful and when you do non-lethal attacks they usually take less shots. Either that or I just sniped him when he was on the docks in his wheelchair, but you have to look out for that wheel after he explodes.
Who does this guy think he is, Judge Dredd? This sounds like something a kid would do.
Again, all the things the article mentions using the Kinect for would be better suited, and much easier with buttons. Basically what the article is saying is don't change JRPGs, but use kinect to select your menu options with your hand and then yell out the spells or moves you want to use. Yeah, I can't wait to shout out "Now bear my Arctic Blast!"
From the title of the article and the picture beside it you'd think Karl Magnusson is happy that it won't be on one disc on Xbox360, but for anyone wondering he didn't say that it wouldn't, he said "no comment".
I've never had a problem with either of these characters. Voldo is actually pretty easy for me to use and I like Hilde too, although I really don't have a favorite character in SCIV since they all have good aspects.
Play Final Fantasy for the NES and then play Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 2 borrows elements from the RPG genre, but it isn't a full-blooded RPG. That doesn't make Mass Effect 2 any less of a good game, because it is a very good game, it just isn't an RPG. If it frustrates you that much that it isn't an RPG then you can continue to think that it is, but for people who have been playing RPGs since before they were a video game genre Mass Effect 2 is not an RPG.
