The only company I don't agree with you about is SE. They've stumbled, but they're not nearly as bad as the others. A lot of their handheld games are still good, and while I wouldn't push away a FFVII remake I'm glad they're pushing ahead rather than using time and resources to make the same game they released in 1997 on the PS3. I think compared to CAPCOM they're actually a lot smarter in their form of "westernization". Rather than outsource to other com...
Please don't compare Bayonetta to Sarah Palin, she really doesn't deserve it. Bayonetta that is...
If CAPCOM gives the rights to Megaman away they should go to Keiji Inafune. I don't like some of the things he's said, and in reality he only finished up the design of Megaman, he didn't create him entirely on his own, but he's the one who's worked on the games the most over the years so he deserves to be called the father of Megaman.
I think what Keiji Inafune said was a result of a bad situation he was in at CAPCOM without a way to get out or to show his...
It's the Evony school of advertising.
If it happens I'll buy it, and for everyone saying Super Darkstalkers or Darkstalkers Arcade edition, Darkstalkers is the only fighting series that CAPCOM hasn't done that with.
This piece takes a lot of liberty with what is and isn't known about Anora, or her father for that matter. It also simplifies the reasoning behind the vast dislike for her character.
As far as the player knows from the story, Anora was kept in captivity by her own father and Howe, thus she would have been unable to do much of anything, let alone play politics. Then there is the event in which the character is betrayed, as mentioned in the article. By itself it could be u...

I have the game reserved already and am eagerly awaiting July 26th. With all of the remakes, FPS, updated fighting games, and unoriginal concepts something like Catherine is a breath of fresh air. The demo was great and the full game looks to have a lot of depth in terms of the story and lots of replay value in attaining gold trophies for each puzzle.
Really?
I tried to make my Shepard look like me, but he ended up looking like Daniel Craig.
Demos are usually released in order to entice people to buy the game, asking people to buy a demo in order to entice a company to actually make the game isn't common practice.
I was going to buy a 3DS for this game, although I would have preferred it on the PS3 or Wii, but now I'll wait until Rune Factory 4 comes out.
It seems kind of odd that the best game on this list is Michael Jackson's Moonwalker Game, which I actually thought was pretty good in an odd sort of way.
The Legend of Dragoon is definitely a game that should be played if you haven't already. Since it was published by SONY I'm surprised they haven't developed a sequel by now. I'm glad to see it was mentioned in the article, but I knew what a dragoon was thanks to Final Fantasy, and although there is no difference in the words dragoon and dragon in French, dragoons are a class of soldiers in reality and are recognized even today.
I wouldn't mind if the game played completely differently from Mass Effect, I'd just like to see more games set in space that aren't Star Wars. Not that I have anything against Star Wars, but it would be nice to play a game where you wander through space that isn't Mass Effect and doesn't have lightsabers. Those two series are pretty much the only option you have for a space adventure game other than Star Ocean: The Last Hope.
I probably won't be buying any of these games except for Silent Hill and maybe RE:ORC, and that's only if it turns out to be a good game. The rest of these lost their appeal not necessarily because they aren't being developed in Japan, but because they're so far from what I expect from their respective series. The only exceptions would seem to be Luigi's Mansion and Silent Hill, although I really can't speak for Dead Rising or SEGA Rally since I've never played any...
Have we not learned our lesson already after the many, many, video game movies that have been terrible? Hollywood and video games don't mix, whether it's a game made into a movie or a movie made into a game.
Harvest Moon is a non-violent game series, and it's actually pretty fun.

I think you've hit the nail on the head as to why most people never gain any bubbles. People are quick to bubble users down, but not to bubble people up. It's human nature I suppose to focus more on the bad than the good, and I know I'm just as guilty as anyone else in that aspect.
If users want more bubbles they should start bubbling up other users who you think make good comments. By focusing more on the positive comments here and rewar...
If you read The White Hotel by D.M. Thomas or saw The Birth of Venus by Botticelli you would at first be presented with sexual images that may cause you to think that they have no real depth. However, if you venture deeper into the book and inspect the artwork more closely you would find out that there's a lot more to it than what you first saw. Catherine is the same in that aspect, and while the advertising may put you off, anyone who picks up the game thinking it's going to be shall...
