My Grandfather retired from working at a paper mill, and what n to the b says is absolutely true. All this talk about wasting trees, doesn't anyone realize that trees are a renewable resource?
What he has done in terms of making games is irrelevant to his actions here. If Miyamoto or any other person in any industry had said this to a woman it would still be inappropriate. It's fratboy behavior at its worst and he should have apologized to her. This article has nothing to do with his achievements in the game industry, so people defending him by referencing the games he has made should read the article first.
I have a Wii and a PS3, but last gen I had an Xbox and a PS2. The only reason I didn't buy an Xbox360, which I came close to doing at one point, is because of Xbox Live. I know in the long run it may not amount to much, but I just couldn't see the logic in paying to play games online, buying a wireless adapter (pre-Xbox Slim), and buying play and charge kits for my controllers.
My brother has an Xbox360 and is very happy with it, and playing online with him was one of th...
I thought it was pretty stupid, but not worth raising a fuss over.
I agree, after playing the demo of RE5 before it came out, I knew it wasn't in the same style as what I had grown to expect from RE. I thought Outbreak was really good, and it was refreshing to have companions to help you and to add challenge by needing to be looked after. I also liked how their AI made them seem frantic, but still seek a way to escape or help out when they could, at least in my experience. Were there snags that made them annoying at times? Yes, but they could take care o...

Why does Capcom release any of the avatars they do on the PSN? Not that I don't like a broader choice from the default avatars, mine is Jon Talbain from Darkstalkers, but why release these avatars when they have "no plans" for a new game in the series or are taking the series in a new direction like DMC. I suppose you could say they're for nostalgia sake, but if they don't think Darkstalkers or DMC are popular why bother with the avatars? ...
Michael Douglas as Graeme Nicholson
Law or no law kids will still get the games. Kids under 18 still go to rated R movies and no it's not illegal for them to do so. The MPAA ratings are no more powerful than the ESRB ratings, if a kid buys a ticket for a G movie and goes into an R rated movie the worst he will get is kicked out of the theater, if he even gets caught or if the theater even cares for that matter. All this is about is the ignorance of lawmakers who just want to pass yet another law that isn't needed.

If I want to play all the great games that are available for the PC, I'll have to buy a new computer that can handle them, and if you want to play GT5, you'll have to buy a PS3. The only thing stopping everyone from being able to play a certain game is the fact that not everyone is either able or willing to pay for the equipment necessary to play the game. Would I want all games to be available for all systems? No. Why? Not because I'm selfish, but because c...
I wouldn't say it's in crisis, but the names of the major players are slowly changing. SE and Capcom are still making money, people are still buying their games, but the quality seems to be dipping. However, Atlus, Platinum, and other small studios are emerging, Sega seems to be getting stronger, Nintendo has made a comeback, and Sony is still going strong.
The western studios are making the Japanese make room for them, but for every good western game there's a b...
"This arguably reached its zenith with Metal Gear Solid 5."
Metal Gear Solid 5? Unless they're talking about Peace Walker Metal Gear Solid 5 doesn't even exist yet.
It has already begun...
It already has been announced.

Metal Gear Solid 4 also offers much more than Enslaved does. It has excellent replay value and an online multiplayer mode, which some may or may not have taken advantage of. Heavy Rain is unique due to how it is played. It reminds me of the old Quest games (Police Quest, Space Quest, etc.) for PC with updated controls and more branches in terms of story. Enslaved is just another action game that tells a story most of us have heard already in one form or another.
Are you sure they're in line for Kinect? Maybe they thought it was the line to audition for the next Making the Band.
No mention of the Record of Agarest War Limited Edition?

I don't hate NT, but I'm not interested in their games. Not everyone rushes out to buy a game just because it gets good reviews. Believe it or not I also don't own any Call of Duty games either, but that doesn't mean I hate Infinity Ward.
For the record, Keiji Inafune himself has stated that "his mentor", Akira Kitamura already had the basic design of Megaman created when he joined Capcom, but I suppose "Creator of Zero from the Megaman series" doesn't attract as many viewers.

Thank you for sharing that, I've never seen it before and it's so bad it's good, but I doubt Sony spent as much money on that as Microsoft is spending on Kinect's advertising. If they did though it was money well spent!
I would have liked Red Dead Redemption better if it had less story and more choice. Granted, it is a great game, but it seems kind of odd that you can be an outlaw outside of the main story and yet still be working on "reforming". Plus I wouldn't have helped a lot of the NPCs, Seth just to name one, if the story hadn't forced me to.
