I really don't understand why these people are seen as important to the gaming industry. For a long time I never had the G4 or TechTV channel, but now that I do I don't see what the big deal is.

Just because no one on their TV show was looking forward to MML3 doesn't mean that no one else was either. Maybe once upon a time these people spoke for gamers without allowing their personal views to seep through, but I suppose the gaming news world is taking a cue from ...

If they actually released their fighting games when they were complete instead of Super and Ultimate versions they could save enough money to make as many Megaman games as they'd like. Face it, CAPCOM is afraid of losing money and instead of trying to make great games they're milking their tried and true franchises.

I understand that Pixar has made huge advances in computer animation, and I know that it all started with Toy Story, but comparing it to Crysis seems odd. Not because of the tech behind the two, but because of the vast differences between the two stories. One is a kids movie and the other is a FPS.

On the subject of the tech, while it's clear that Pixar has become the top computer animation studio it would be interesting to see what they could do if they decided to make a...

Interesting, so when will we see a top five for murder in video games? Oh, wait...

All this new technology, and yet I often find myself turning on my NES and having fun playing "inferior" games. However, I don't have an iPad or smartphone and I only use my cell phone to call people. Kind of strange that I've become an old man while I'm still in my 20s.

While new technology is always good, if it doesn't have any soul it will just end up being prettier pictures that quickly fade from memory.

This article is full of assumptions and really states nothing concrete. It implies that Herman Cain gave a quote that he attributed to a "poet" that was actually from a song from the Pokemon movie released in 2000. They don't take into consideration that Mr. Cain isn't a shut-in and may have heard the quote from someone on his staff or even someone he met on the street.

Regardless, it doesn't matter if he got the quote from the Pokemon movie or not, alth...

The worst thing about publishers is the fact that they seem oblivious to the existence of the internet. If they release a game in Japan we'll know it (Namco-Bandai) and if they release a game everywhere but North America we'll know about that too (Nintendo). If it was still the 80s or the 90s they could get away with these things, but now everything's out in the open and it doesn't help their reputation to act like we don't see what they're doing.

Edit...

I'd take the Marvel characters in MvC2 over the Marvel characters in MvC3 any day.

4 games that aren't even out yet and one that doesn't look as good as the original in the series.

Didn't they try to "strike a balance" in Dragon Age 2? Face it BioWare, unless the title is Dragon Age: Origins 2 and all reference to "Hawke's Daily Life in Kirkwall" is either erased or only slightly referenced in the new game a lot of people aren't even going to care about your new Dragon Age game. Sure, some people will buy it, but you can't fool the people who expected a second Dragon Age: Origins game again.

I'm proud to say that I've never played 'Angry Birds' and I never will. It's bad enough when newscasters mention it like it makes them hip or something, but when Sprint dedicates an entire commercial to it I really have to question the intelligence of this nation. If 'Angry Birds' is something people associate with serious video gaming then we should elect Bozo to be our next president. At least he's never short of "fresh, crisp, one hundred dollar bills&q...

I've never relied too much on IGN for gaming news. They are, in a lot of ways, very unprofessional and childish to a certain extent, but that isn't that much different from a lot of gaming websites. As to the nickname "IGNorant", it seems to be based more on opinion rather than fact, and reviews are just that, opinions. Although, I suppose the majority of the negativity pointed at them stems from the fact that they are paid for their opinions and get early access because of ...

Thank you for ruining what used to be a great channel, Mr. Howe. Although, to be fair I'm sure there are a lot more people to blame than just him.

Anyone who even thinks about making a video game movie should watch the Super Mario Bros. movie and read this. If they still think they can make a good video game movie after that they should leave the movie business and find another line of work.

The fact that Nintendo dropped the price of the 3DS at all was a big deal, if they drop the price of the games we'd know they're in trouble. Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii is still full price new, so what does that tell you about how Nintendo prices their games?

Because they would be bad games, and the fact that you reference the games they'd be similar to proves that they aren't necessary either. The only one I'd even consider would be Source Code, but I doubt if it could transition well.

Tenpenny in Fallout 3 is supposed to be a British guy, but he doesn't have a British accent. It isn't even a bad British accent, he just doesn't have one. I think one of the major reasons some voice acting in video games gets such praise when it really isn't that good (FemShep), is because so much video game voice acting is mediocre. There are a lot of good VAs, but most of them have a lot of experience in either animation or previous gen games, and often they get supporting r...

“Children aged between 10 and 14"? That was the age group of the rioters? One, where were their parents, and two what were they rioting about Justin Bieber?
