If you don't think G4 is a 'bad' channel I'd hate to see which channels you do think are bad. They could change the name of the channel to CopsTV and no one would know the difference. Sure they show X-Play and AOTS, but they're reruns most of the time, and AOTS is worthless in my opinion. They should just kill the channel and get it over with.

The cost to make a game probably hasn't changed as much as you'd think. Besides, if you take into consideration that they made games for multiple systems, thus required multiple teams or at least multiple project budgets it might have actually cost more when you consider inflation. While the differences between systems this gen is pretty minimal, you actually do see developers making different versions of games for different systems (see Dead Rising for Xbox 360 compared to Dead Risin...
This reminds me of seeing all the websites asking why no one was buying Enslaved after it received good review scores. While reviews are good for people who have questions about a game they aren't, and shouldn't be, the deciding factor in whether a game is bought or not.
I didn't buy Call of Juarez, but anyone who did has the right to do so, and the right to have fun playing it if they enjoy it, despite what reviewers thought of it.
The biggest reason why the 3DS isn't selling as well as it could is because a lot of people are waiting for the system to have games that they want to play on it. I'm surprised by the price drop, it makes it more enticing of a buy, but I'm still waiting to see what RPGs it gets. Every system's library starts out small, but I guess Nintendo expected more from the 3DS than the release games could provide.

How do they expect us to believe that they're going to cater to the hardcore with the WiiU if they aren't too concerned with releasing games that a lot of people are clearly interested in for a system that hasn't had a lot of high profile games? So far all I see in the WiiU is the same things the PS3/360 already has, but the PS3/360 doesn't have Xenoblade, The Last Story, or Pandora's Tower. NoA may be listening, but they aren't really hearing what people are saying.

Except for Shepards 4 and 6 the only difference is the hair, but they compare them to different celebrities who look nothing like each other? The only two I even recognize are Natalie Portman and Janet Jackson.
Shepard isn't any race, he or she is a human being that you create in whatever image you'd like and then as you play the game you instill whatever personality you choose within him/her.
The best Red Faction game was the first one, which when I found out it was made by THQ I was surprised since they usually only made wrestling games. Red Faction is dead and THQ killed it by going too far from where they started.
He does have a point if you think about it. How many big puzzle games have we seen this gen not counting XBLA/PSS? How many offbeat games like PaRappa The Rapper? Shooters are fine, but not if everything is a shooter.
I'm surprised the author of this piece doesn't recognize the hypocrisy in it. Why does it even matter what the female Shepard looks like, by listing off her accomplishments you've already made it clear she's not your typical female character, but if she has blonde hair and blue eyes she's automatically a ditz? I don't have Facebook, so I won't be voting, but I made my own male Shepard, the author made her own female Shepard so who they put on the box or in the comm...
I don't get the problem with a lot of the characters listed. Sure a lot of them are over the top, but the character designs are what make the King of Fighters games unique. If you want bland characters and "realistic" costume designs there are a lot of games from EA that will suit your standards.
When I was a kid, I used to play Super Mario Bros. on two players and kill Mario on purpose so I could play as Luigi.

It's "lose", liquor is liquor no matter where you live, and it's not what you drink it's how much.
Regardless, it's better that girls or guys play video games to relieve stress rather than risk their health through over drinking. I know a lot of girls who game too and they're a lot more fun to talk to than the ones who go out drinking all the time.
They do that in America too, whether they're in college or not.
And I still won't buy it unless it has Megaman and Cyclops, although Cyclops was Marvel's fault since they chose who was included from their side. Thanks a lot for Rocket Raccoon Marvel, I guess Cyclops is their Megaman.
