If they released this, Graces F, and Vesperia PS3(not much chance I know) on the same day I would buy all three of them.
At least it isn't Ultimate Final Fantasy XIII. I mean it's an actual new game with a new story. I'd rather have Versus first, but I'll check it out while I'm waiting.
I really don't understand what the big deal about the video is. Sure, they kind of missed the point that it's the parents' job to parent, but those games really do sound stupid. If I was still a kid I wouldn't give them a second look if I saw them in the store or on the internet. I'm all for being responsible in maintaining our environment, but give me a break.
It's their choice, but "fool me once"....
This American bought a PS3 because while Sony innovated, including a Blu-Ray player, using Blu-Ray for games, HDMI support, wireless internet support, and upgradable hard drive support that didn't require first party hard drives from the get go Microsoft released something closer to the PS2.5 and slapped the stuff the PS3 had on afterwards, minus the Blu-Ray support. Not to mention the RROD fiasco and while I miss the JRPGs that jumped ship I was lucky enough to buy before the PS2 BC was ...
I guess I'll be waiting for DQXI now.
Strange, as the fate of Ninja Theory is shaky and the days of all DD may come after they're already gone.
This is why I have less respect for a lot of developers today compared to the developers of the Genesis/SNES/NES days. Back then they made the best game that they could for each system, even if it was the same title. If one system had certain features that could be used they used them. Not many games looked the same on every system because they focused on making the best games they could for that system.
Now everything has to be "equal", well what works on the 360 ...
If there is any NES game that is ready for 3D it's Rad Racer.
Considering the amount of interviews and articles we've been seeing with her in them compared to the ones we've seen with Mark Meer perhaps she should take her own advice.
She does decent work in her voice acting, but that doesn't mean everyone wants to know her opinion about everything. As for her advice for directors, that's nice, but they're the directors, and if she becomes too difficult to work with she won't have as many offers as she has now.
You got me there, but I was thinking about it.
There have been some cases where a minor who has committed a particularly heinous crime is tried as an adult and subject to harsher penalties for their actions.
As for killing children in video games, if you play A Boy and his Blob, or any other game where you play as a child, and die on purpose technically that game features children being killed, and most of them are rated E.
I wasn't disputing that, I was disputing the level of creativity in the character. To me he looks like a green version of the guy from Excitebike on the NES with a gold visor and a gun. For the record, I played the original Halo when I had an Xbox and I really didn't see what the big deal was. It's exploded now, but when your main character, or mascot, looks like Master Chief the only way to go is up in terms of creativity.
So in other words.... Deus Ex is racist against white people? \s
It was dumb when Crash did it and it's dumb for Microsoft to do it. Master Chief will never attain the recognition that Mario has, or even Link for that matter. First, he wasn't even in all of the Halo games, and second, his name is about as generic as you can get.
To each their own if you like the Halo series, but this is just stupid, and Microsoft should be focusing more on making more games than driving in front of Nintendo's headquarters in a Halo van.
I use my index finger for both R1/R2 and L1/L2 no matter what type of game I play, so the buttons work fine for me. I don't see why the new Xbox-like controller would be necessary, but I suppose the option is good for those who want it. other than the position of the D-pad and the start/select buttons there is very little difference between the two.
Yeah, but GTA is perfectly okay, right? Not to mention the drug dealer games that are played by high school kids on their TI-83s. It's a game, and if you agree that it will instigate actual dog fighting in real life than what's the difference between other games that are based on illegal activity?
They should change the title to "Top Ten Monster Characters featuring Kratos, War(Darksiders), and Sweet Tooth(Twisted Metal)".
Dragon Age 3 is going to have to do a lot to get me to even consider picking it up. For starters they should bring back the in depth character customization that was in Origins. The only time I played as a human was when I decided to become king, which I didn't even do because I couldn't stand Anora, so unless you can be a dwarf or elf, and why not throw in a Qunari while their at it, I'll be hard pressed to pay attention to anything about DA3.
When I read the title of this article I thought I would disagree with it, but it actually makes a lot of good points. The sad thing is that it doesn't give much hope for a return to the glory days of gaming for Japan, but hopefully something will happen that will enable them to rise again. As for the Japanese opinion on Western games, not all of them are bad, but I guess LJN did more damage than we thought.
