...that Nintendo doesn't just go ahead and do this themselves. I've wanted to play this game for a long time.
Some of the order bugs me.
Spore at #39? I know it's not likely to be identical to the PC version, but it should be pretty close. And a FF Crystal Chronicles game ahead of Tales of Symphonia 2? Please. Oh well. In any case, there's alot to look forward to on the Wii in the near future.
Of course I'll have to wait and see, but I think this game is going to outright fail. I don't think that DC comics is going to allow fatalities on their most revered characters, and Mortal Kombat without fatalities just isn't Mortal Kombat. I can see why they want to try this considering that Capcom struck gold with Marvel a while back, but this particular merger seems very non-compatible to me.
If "most people" really don't care for the Wii, then I guess "no one" cares for the Xbox 360 or PS3 since the Wii has almost sold as much as the two combined. What a silly statement.
44k should be around a 1/1 attach rate right in Japan? :p

...or did Link and Samus look pretty bad? It was a nice concept, but I'm glad it didn't happen in this fashion. That being said, you'd think that Nintendo would be glad to have their characters exposed to a bigger audience. Especially since they'd be making money off of it. *shrug*

...for the most part, people who buy this game will be the people who love and have loved MGS and its story for a while. Needless to say, that is a good number of people, but I can understand why advertisements have been used sparingly. You either already know that you are getting this game, or you will buy it because a friend told you it's awesome, or you will buy it because you thought that Snake was cool on Smash Bros Brawl, and looked into the series out of curiosity. While the list is a bit odd and lacking, it's good to see ToS getting some love. It truly is a great and epic game. I seriously can't wait for the sequel this fall.

...is because if they give us what we want on the Console, many will forsake the handheld, which is part of their bread and butter. Nintendo needs to figure out how to make the handheld and console versions compliment each other to an extent where the consumer will see both as necessary. Though the price is still high imo @ $399, the $100 dollar gift card definitely takes the sting out of it. I doubt that I'll get a better deal between now and when GOW3 and FFXIII come out, which are the games I was waiting on.
I'll end my part in this by saying that in my view, you guys, and all gamers in general are my brothers and sisters. Sometimes we disagree, sometimes we say things we don't mean, or mean what we say, yet say it in a way that we don't mean to. I value you all and your right to your opinions. Reading comprehension? Give me a break. You called the game a flop. Had I commented on what you said you meant after the fact I would have been reading into what you said. The truth is that from a moving consoles standpoint, if we look at things from a purely Wii Fit or Haze perspective, then not quite 1 of 3 people bought Haze or Wii Fit for each respective console sold last week. Of course we don't have the numbers on which new console owners bought which games so of course even that is abs...
