This game was a port from the PS2 to the Wii. The graphics were refined a bit, but nothing was redrawn. No extra polygons added. You fanboys trying to make it seem as if the Wii couldn't do any better than what we see here are pathetic. Grow up.
VGChartz was waaaay off on software for Brawl. That game is seriously owning. It came out on March 9th and still sold nearly 3 million copies in the U.S. alone? Insane. And man I'm still playing the hell out of that game. Too bad the online is so hit and miss...

I wonder if Square Enix and Nintendo realize that even a PS2 graphics quality remake of Chrono Trigger for the Wii that could be sold on both systems would sell through the roof? There are a host of old games that I personally would shell out 50 bucks for if they redid them with new graphics, but the same gameplay.
lol @ 26 GameCubes being sold. I guess we have to figure those people will never be buying a Wii. I'm thoroughly impressed with Brawl though. almost 2.5 million in 4 weeks. COD 4, the Guitar Hero's, and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl just keep chugging along as well. Gaming seems safe (for the time being at least) from the current economic downturn.
The Wii isn't going to have a price drop until sales drop noticeably. When that does happen, we will likely be in the relatively long lasting peak of this economic downturn, which will have spread to the rest of the world to varying degrees. The Wii will go from $250, to $189 or so. An "Odd price" far enough away from $200 dollars to ease the minds of those who would still buy such things. I'm quite the Nintendo fan, but this annoys me to no end. Behold gamers: Where your support money for Nintendo through Super Mario Galaxy, Brawl, etc is being spent. Not that I'm not eagerly waiting for games like Tales of Symphonia 2, but this and the current trend in general almost makes me feel as if Brawl is Nintendo's farewell/Judas kiss to the hardcore. :(
