I'm very disappointed that this is for the most part a direct port... However, it seems as though we'll be able to play multiplayer, with each person controlling a different character, so they got at least one thing from the wish-list right. :)
Personally, I don't buy Cable anymore. I have quite a collection of DVD's and games instead. I imagine that I'm not the only one. There are some good shows on Cable, but they are in the minority and can always be bought later, or watched at a friends house. A large DVD collection on the other hand gives you something to watch whenever/whatever. Not to mention that I spend much more time gaming than I do watching T.V. or movies. Gaming is its own brand of entertainment, with much more bang for...
Link's Crossbow training = Play game, throw away accessory.
Wii Play = Use Wii Remote, throw away game.
By now, I think most people would expect during the somewhat down weeks of software sales, Wii Play will sell alot since the Wii is still selling like crazy and people need/want that second controller.
Bread is a solid, good tasting staple food, while Caviar is an expensive, fancy, acquired taste that the mainstream may dabble in on occasion, but do not prefer. Nice comparison.
Way to be.
The good, the bad, and the WTF? Nice little piece.
...how many skaters/skate gamers own Wii Fit? I dunno man...
Some of that stuff is spot on. Even so, the upper level grossness can be applied to just about any extremely popular anime, or game for that matter.
This is like saying that during a marathon, on the 10th mile, the leader of the pack ran a 5 minute mile, and the second place runner ran a 5:30 mile, yet the second place runner is catching up. Maybe that second place runner ran a 6 minute mile on the previous one, but he still currently lost another 30 seconds in the overall race added on to however far he was behind. This is some B.S. Why can't articles just tell the plain truth? "PS3 sales picking up a bit in Japan." There, nice...
It looks like it's a decent game, but it's pretty obvious that no extra work was done to make the Wii version look as good as it could have. This just looks like a really good looking PS2 game. Gameplay looks fun, but of course there's no 1/1 lightsaber movement, and the system they are using sounds less effective and immersive than that of No More Heroes. At this point, it looks like a rent for me. :/
... Next year when this game, the stuff EA is working on, The Conduit, etc. come out, all with these same claims. Some will look and play great obviously, while likely some will be lackluster. And yet each is supposed to max out the Wii's capabilities. Personally, my money is on High Voltage for the win, and EA for fail. Spyborgs? I really am trying not to judge it too much yet, though my lack of excitement for it is rather telling I think.
For Tales of Symphonia 2. I can't wait for that game's release here in the U.S.
They were commenting, but for those who don't speak Japanese its got to be annoying.
Yeah, I guess I need to rephrase that better. There are no serious RPG's on the Wii that interest me. Fire Emblem, while an RPG, is more of a strategy game, and its graphics were shamelessly GameCube quality. Baroque is a remake of an older game and looks kind of crappy. Dragon Quest swords is rather simplistic and kiddy for my tastes. And while I own My life as a King, and Paper Mario, Paper Mario was boring for me, and I'd never play it again. My life as a King was a nice new little take on...
Since there are no serious RPG's on the Wii yet, this wait is even worse for me than the wait for Brawl was! What a way to start though. This game will be pure awesome. Come quickly November 1st! :)
...that Nintendo's next system will use this disk instead of Blu Ray since it will be cheaper. Bleh...
Of all the things that Nintendo needs to do to help the Wii be better for gamers, adding DVD playing ability is high on their list? How annoying. Anyone who doesn't have a working DVD player either doesn't want one, or the one they had already is broken. If it's the former, then this upgrade is useless. If it's the latter, then they MIGHT sell a few more consoles because of it but I doubt it. I can't see people having a frame of mind of: "I need a new DVD player, let's go get a Wii!"...
"I'm so tired of all this. First the chances of KH3 being on Wii is very low. Nomura-san is known to like putting alot of detail into everything he does and he cant exactly do that on Wii."
The thing is, a Kingdom Hearts game made for the Wii with such detail would be much better than anything the PS2 could have done, and PS2 is the most powerful system that KH games have appeared on so far. So what are you so tired of again? I for one, am tired of all of the pathetic a...
Sweet! :)
Should definitely be one of the best for this year.
