= PS3 purchase for me. In fact, I had been hoping that it would have been released this year, but in retrospect I realize that it's not only too soon since 2, but business-wise it is also too early. As much as I hate the price of the PS3, GoW3 will have me buying one regardless. I'd have to assume that Sony realizes this, and plans to use this game and FFXIII strategically to keep from having to drop the price.
Even if it is true that the majority of Wii owners don't use the online functionality or download games, the fact remains that anyone who does download games semi-regularly needs, or will need more space. The success of WiiWare is dependent on how much crap and inconvenience people are willing to deal with before they write it off. That's not a good way to go about business. If Nintendo expects people to buy and download games for the Wii, they have to give people a hassle free way to do so o...

This game is an absolute steal at 7 bucks.
...Gyrostarr is pretty sweet. Especially since it's only 7 bucks! If you've got space left for another game I highly recommend it.

...but it's easy to make such comments when your game is decent, and the first available on the new service. It's a fun, decent little game. People excited about the new WiiWare service gobbled it up. Personally, I deleted a couple of VC games in order to be able to download it. I'll tell you what though, I'm going to be alot more selective 6 months from now. Those games won't get the benefit of doubt, they'll have to be absolutely excellent for me to go through the hassle it has become to do...
PS3 costs $399 at the least. Many 20 and 30 something gamers buy their own, but many teens and early 20's players get the PS3 as a gift. From who? Apparently their 40 something and older dads. I know a guy in his 40's who bought MGS4 for his son, (on the PS3 that he bought for him as well) and he's not playing it, but loves to watch. It's true that Navi was annoying, but the truth for me at least was that I've played that game from start to finish at least 10 times. Somehow, I don't think that it was anywhere near as annoying the first time through the game, when I didn't know everything and it was actually helpful now and then. Of course on your third time or so through the game you wish it would just shut the hell up, but without it, that first time through might not have hooked us. Know what I mean?
I can think of some more unlikeable characters, but this was pretty entertaining. Kudos on the Duck Hunt Dog. Who has ever played that game who hasn't intentionally spent a round or two on that annoying, laughing dog? :)

I agree with you completely. I'm just saying that I think that the biggest reason people trade games in is because it helps them to more easily afford new games. People who buy used recent games are just cheap, and part of the problem in a more "malevolent" way.
If we gamers weren't stupid enough to give them this cheap inventory, this practice wouldn't exist. If you are short on funds though, and a new game is out that you want, then I guess you do what you have to do. Yes people are being exploited, but it's not akin to rape. What's happening to the companies that make these games though? That's another story. IMO, anyone who bought used or traded in a struggling game like No More Heroes is just wrong.
...everything will be fine as long as they continue support and continue to trickle out new games for the 360 now and then, unlike what they did with the original Xbox. If they go cold turkey again and just leave people hanging, they deserve to be abandoned. I seriously don't think they'll do that though.

1: Initially only internet-mongers such as ourselves knew anything about it.
2. It's such an artistically stylized game that you pretty much have to play it in order for it to appeal to you if you weren't impressed by clips or screen-shots.
