The game is awesome though. I'd trade an elaborate/cool manual for blood on this type of game any day.

...but Zack and Wiki had a pretty good week all things considered. The game is most likely at the point now where it is actually turning profit. We may see that sequel yet. :)

As far as tournaments and the like go, it really is that good.

And I must say that this is one of the best games for the Wii. It has a few little problems, but the game for the most part is great. Just don't go into it expecting Grand Theft Auto.

Looks like it's going to be another year before release. :(
Oh well, as long as they hit the mark, it will be worth it.

Fragile, Red Steel 2, Okami, and Mario Kart Wii have all been announced as well. Not to mention that only half the year of releases has been revealed so far. I'd say that this is shaping up to be a great year for Nintendo and their 3rd party games. If they drop a serious bomb or two at E3, then it may end up being an extraordinary year.

If these 6000 people were really serious about saving HD-DVD then they'd all go out and buy 5-10 or so movies apiece. That would turn some heads. But no one is going to care much about this petition. HD-DVD isn't on the rapid decline because enough people didn't "support" it, it's on the rapid decline because enough people didn't SUPPORT it.

The characters being pirates doesn't automatically make this an adventure game. This game is pure puzzle, with just enough story to tie all of the stages together. It almost makes me think that this person didn't play very much of it.

Anyone recognize these characters? They are among the pictures in the sidebar of the story. Interesting.

The resurrection of Ness. He may not be top-tier, but it's all about the bat.

The article recommends not buying or selling used games as a moral choice that would help preserve gaming as we know it over the long-term. It doesn't say that the government should disallow it. It doesn't say that the possible changes would be implemented next week, or next month, as some people are acting like. Most of you people b!tching and complaining either didn't read it all, or didn't understand what you read. The bottom line is that whether game and console Developers are correct in ...

Can't wait. No More Heroes is going to be awesome.

Yep. Money at whatever cost is the bottom line. Whether it's an EB games that's milking consumers and helping to fuel the used game market, or the gamers who don't care who gets screwed as long as they get the price they want.

Not every game has to involve killing and violence. Calling this a video game is a bit of a stretch though. That being said, it's definitely a beautiful work of art, and I respect it. It's almost like hands on "Planet Earth".

Because, then we'd have twice as many junkyards, filled with cars that people don't want anymore. Which would be an environmental disaster. Not to mention that the demand for cars would go down, since people would keep them longer. They barely sell enough to stay in business as it is.
Car = Huge, expensive and toxic in many ways.
DVD = Tiny, inexpensive, easily transported and recycled.

It's that at some point the current way that we experience gaming (hard disk with no strings attached) may end because of it, so we better make the choice while the choice is still ours. If I was a developer who didn't quite sell enough copies of my recent game to get by, or fund my next project, and I saw my game up for sale, used at GameStop for $5-10 bucks cheaper than usual, I'd be pissed. Same thing if I'm the head of one of these console companies. If I see my product being reintroduced...

This is a direct quote from the article:

"Of course, if you want that old copy of Pokemon Red or Blue, or Final Fantasy VII, then by all means go ahead. If you are buying Uncharted, or Mass Effect, or Metroid Prime 3: Corruption used, for the $5 or $10 discount though, then imagine the very real possibility of the above scenarios coming to pass; and know that you are a part of the problem."

No one is suggesting that buying old ass games is the problem....

I take issue with your classifying Pokemon Diamond and Pearl as Casual games though. It may not be a "Classic" style RPG, but it is indeed an RPG.

I challenge anyone to beat Pokemon Diamond or Pearl from start to finish, let alone fully train a team of Pokemon and survive more often than not on Wi-Fi and still call it casual. :)

Don't you think that (Assuming what you say is true) the reason your friends sold their Wii's or don't play them is because they are like you? They have a problem with a new system that doesn't have HD graphics. Even if you had some very large and diverse cross section of people who are these friends of yours, with all manner of tastes then it would still be an anomaly that they disliked the Wii enough to get rid of it or never play it since the rest of the world is opposite. Yeah, you don't ...
