Here's what the article (RUMOR not news) says:

Meaning that if it did happen it wouldn't be the extensive version that the PS3 will have. We all know that the Wii couldn't handle it.

The bullying thing was even worse since this is a kid who had to go to school with the bully. Not to mention that the bully impersonated a MS employee. That thing would not happen if MS didn't play the "Let's see if he gets some more complaints, then we'll give him a warning" game. They need to crack down, and ban a few thousand customers to make a point. Most of them would probably even buy new 360's if they had to to get back on there anyway.

All this news means to me is that however unlikely it is, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 just became a little more possible. Capcom should try to do a Marvel vs. DC though. That game would last forever if they did it right.
...that as long as Microsoft turns the other way regarding this abuse, it will continue. The very week that they crack down and start banning people and revoking memberships en masse it stops. Period. Because people will place their desire to just play games over being abusive. But for whatever reason MS won't do it.
You may or may not have heard, but comments like yours belong in the "Open" division now. This is the Gamer zone. Not the "I've got my head so far up (pick a console company)'s kiester I can't respect anything else" zone.
While I hear you, Super Mario Galaxy has only been out for three months, and people tend to buy Wii Play more because it has a controller included with it than anything else.
With the way they express their opinion in that little 4 paragraph "review", it makes me doubt that they even played the game all the way through. It seems they judged it more from some sort of "Moral" standpoint than anything else. NMH is an awesome game imo. Much better than the grade they gave it.
In Japan there are 5 million Wii's sold. So that means that 1 in 5 Wii owners in Japan bought Super Mario Galaxy. It's sold over 5 million world wide in only 3 months, meaning that 1 in 4 Wii owners World wide own the game. That's not quite Halo, but truly, no game can EXPECT to do better than that.
That being said, even Super Mario Galaxy (Fastest selling Mario game of all time so far) wasn't as highly anticipated as Brawl is. I wouldn't be surprised to see even better number...
What was the attach rate a year ago? That is the number that is more accurately comparable to Nintendo and Sony's. 360 owners have two years worth of games to choose from, whereas the others only have one so far. I don't doubt at all that whatever that number is, it is higher then Nintendo and Sony's, but it won't be what this article is talking about. Sample size people. Sample size.

Japan does have a certain arrogance about it, but we here in America take the cake. Our elected leaders don't represent us, they just do whatever they want. I hear you, but don't you think that this is one of the reasons why the Xbox 360 struggles to sell 25k units a month in Japan? Just because "both sides" do things this way doesn't mean that it's right. As a gamer I just want to be treated fairly. Nintendo sells as much product in the U.S. as they do in Japan. When they asked for opinions on what and who to add to this game they didn't ask anyone but the Japanese either. Nintendo seems to have an attitude (especially regarding Brawl) of: "You non-Japanese folks are just along for the ride. Deal with what we give you or go to hell. We'll make plenty without you." :(
If this is true, then they must have JUST started popping those babies out of the manufacturing plant. Meaning that they really did JUST complete the game. I sure hope that it's all done right.

I own 14 Wii games. I really believe that it is people like me, (the smaller "Hardcore" audience) that are carrying the rest. Oh well. An average is an average...
What he was saying is that Nintendo 1st party titles are too strong for 3rd party titles to be as successful as he would like if he were to make a game. Is it really that hard to understand?
Is there really a gameplay slowdown? Obviously, even if there is, it is nothing like the horrendous DBZ Budokai: Tenkaichi 3. But still, it's important to know, since as they said, distance between players may be a factor. Anyone notice a difference?
