As someone who has played a large portion of both games, in my personal opinion Knack is a very underrated game, but it is nowhere near the level of mario 3D world. It is also important to note that these games, while both are platformers, are going after different things. The current sales trends of these games says a lot more about the consoles they are on and the perceptions of gamers and the industry alike than it does about the games themselves.

I don't think Nintendo is denying that the wii u is struggling either if you haven't seen any of the comments by iwata over the fall. They just haven't been public about what they plan to do to help it which is not really surprising there.
Even if the majority completely reject Nintendo, there will be a market for them. Nintendo consoles are a must have for anyone who considers themselves to be a well-rounded gamer regardless of whether you consider it to be a primary or secondary console. This is awesome. Regardless of how the wii u does, I hope he gets all the opportunity to express his other creative ideas that he wants on it. As for the team that is taking over, I am loving this game so far, and I am more than okay with this caliber of development with Mario moving forward.
They are comparing the 2 functions directly not the devices themselves so all the people saying that they can't be compared should chill out. They aren't saying the vita is bad, and we should all be plenty happy because remote play is greatly improved from the PS3. They are comparing only the function of second screen gaming not the devices as a whole not the devices as a whole. You are the one getting all defensive and acting like they are downing the vita or PS4 when they are not. Remote play still works great.
