haha lol_wut you are truly funny.
"Why is not news? He's pretty much stating the obvious"
News by its definition is the reporting of recent NEW events. If he is stating the obvious then by definition it is not news.
So EA stops making wii u games because the console isn't selling. Then they record a bigger loss this quarter while the Wii U records a slight growth in sales (though still pretty low). This is indeed ironic.
You listed things Nintendo has not improved on or added from other consoles. Not sure if you know what innovation means because those are improvements.
Just watched the Wayne Brady video, and I had this revelation that if Nintendo hired Wayne Brady and Samuel L. Jackson to do some Wii U promos, it would sell through the roof.
Ball is in your court Nintendo...
May end up just being pride, but it would be awesome if they did have a surprise. Regardless of what it is, it will definitely need to be accompanied by a big marketing push.
What did you win by pointing that out? You do realize that you have no form of personal victory or benefit from Nintendo's success or failure don't you? Honestly your obsession is a little strange. The PS4/X1 will be fine without you arguing about the Wii U.
That is a great example and a lot of fun too. I'm waiting to buy a PS4 until second son comes out. But seeing games like that makes me yearn for the heroes I know and love in Spidey and the Hulk.
I'm enjoying this game on Wii U. I must say this game is mostly making me desire another game like Spiderman 2 for PS2/GC/Xbox or Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction. Those games just felt great to play and interact in their respective worlds. GTAV is still great, but I can't help but find myself wanting to control a super-powered being when I am playing it.
Just so people know, this isn't a Nintendo bashing article, it is an article that asks why Nintendo is not as revered today as it used to be. Raised some good points as well, but in reality the question is fairly pointless to ask. There are a lot of people who just don't care for Nintendo's games and that's fine. There are also people who bash nintendo for no reason or because it is the fun thing to do, and that is a group of humans that cannot be appealed to with reason and l...
lol don't get me wrong it is a great game, but if you consider pikmin to be one of Nintendo's big guns then you must consider mario and pokemon to be WMD's
Lol interested in the innovations and newness of next gen, but still uses room metaphors on the internet like it is 1998. It's a contradiction like starburst (Scottish voice).
They should include the option regardless. I don't think this is the game that it would be most effective, but I have already noticed some games that don't include online that should. I hope whoever specifically makes that call is more open to include the option in later games.
I hope you have had the chance to talk to every single Nintendo employee before making a blanket statement. I know you disagree with the company's practices and that's fine, but don't generalize the employees like you know what their lives are like.
I have some Japanese friends who can explain it to you if you like.
Lol so okay obviously more games from Nintendo would be a great thing, but they don't need to take mario away to do that. Mario is an icon. If the games become bad then by all means give them a rest, but the latest trailer for 3D World gives me the feeling that the quality drop won't be happening anytime soon. For anyone who is tired of mario I suggest playing one of the other amazing games out in existence right now.
Actually I experienced quite a large gift giving culture there when I was there. Don't know if it is a cultural norm everywhere, but the commercialism was pretty present in Tokyo at least. That and the astounding amount of KFC that is consumed.

You need to watch the video discussion about how we define gamers, because you are exactly what is the problem with gamers now.
Funny I made a comment to this effect this morning. Gamer (core and casual included) is completely self-defined and has no real concrete definition. That won't stop people from constantly using the term as law when arguing of course. This was a great topic for gamescoop, and hopefully some people will learn from this discussion.
That game looked awesome without the HD. I think it isn't really worth doing. I'm all for the rumor of N64 remakes, but I agree with the notion that Nintendo should be focusing on new games.
So does that mean the Wii U will actually start marketing? Hell they should've had Pikachu telling everyone to buy a wii u this whole time
