This is a good plan to get some lesser used characters some time and to get more games on wii u.
When it comes to smash (at least for me) everything will be there that I need. I simply need to be able to go out into matchmaking and beat down on some random people, or play with my friends in a custom game. The only features that are really not present as far as in-game for wii u are party chat across different games, sharing, streaming, and achievements. Those are all great and like everyone else I encourage Nintendo to improve on their online infrastructure, but none of them actually enh...
Didn't Nintendo already move to other factories months ago? Why is this news still being reported on...
Well you definitely got that right about polish because their games are incredibly well done and you can see the talent. But in terms of their longevity and standing out as games we will be playing even 20-30 years from now I don't see that happening. Luckily they will continue to at least make great games for years to come.
What is funny is that if Sega never went 3rd party we wouldn't even be constantly using it a an option for when a company is not performing well. Honestly why does everyone act like because Sega went through this that every other company that does poorly has to? There are other options.
...wait are you saying the media does too much campaigning for the wii u? Because as far as I have seen the wii u has been the whipping boy of the media to the point where videos like these are like a raindrop in the ocean. Sorry if I misunderstood the comment.
I think this was a very good video. I agree with almost everything that was said in it. The only thing I disagree with is the concept that Nintendo needs to make games for the "core" gamer. I think the core/casual breakdown of gamers is far to broad and poorly defined. When you ask people what makes a core game or gamer, you get 20 different definitions. That kind of lack of clarity won't be helpful when trying to understand your consumer.
Nintendo's market...
Need more details, but I like the idea. I'm gonna need my isp to be on their game though.
Infamous is the only game that interests me on this list, but I am VERY excited for it. My big spring includes DK:Tropical Freeze, Infamous, and Titanfall. Gonna be a great year I can already tell.
A new incredible hulk ultimate destruction type game would be nice.
actually is doesn't sound like anything because you are reading it not hearing it ;)
lol so you would rather have crappy new games than good ones based of old properties?
if this is how the majority of gamers think now then I am glad to be different.
It is called waiting for a library to form. No one game is going to "save" (hyperbole is unnecessary) the wii u, but if a person waits until they have a library to play it makes more sense. It honestly is what I should have done instead of buying a PS4 and XBOX1 so early.
Also no "hardcore" smash fan would pick up the game for 3ds OVER wii u (i will be getting both) because the cirlce pad will be sufficient, but definitely not the best way to play the gam...
So is Kraven the main villian here? Maybe a little electro? Disappointed.
Say what you want about Iwata. If we had people who write about these companies actually running them, then Nintendo would have gone under a long time ago.
Yeah it makes sense since handhelds are king in Japan. Most half-way competitive players will get it for Wii U or both since the control sticks will be much better for the game than the circle pad.
You may not think you make games for kids, but if you took away all the kids that play your games, you would be missing all that money. But sure, stay on your high horse and get voted as the worst company again. Nintendo could definitely use some change, but EA is the last company that should be chiming in on it.
It will def be the best wii u year so far (unfortunately not saying much) but with a new DK, mariokart, and smash, I'm gonna enjoy my 2014 with it with or without the masses.
@foxtrot
true based on what? you can't just call the entire japanese gaming business culture ignorant and base it on quotes from 2 people and expect it to mean anything. Companies are made up of hundreds of people and a culture that you have clearly taken next to no time to try to understand. You need to educate yourself.
They also stated that the architecture will be similar like brothers so it may not come out of the box like a hybrid console, but they will probably work together like one.
