yeah but it is pretty easy to have healthy competition without having these overly dramatic console wars that lead to more insults than productive debates.
I respectfully disagree. I wouldn't have put Sony/MS through the ringer for keeping franchises alive. As a matter of fact, the news that Crash may be returning to Sony is one of the most exciting things for me getting the PS4. I don't get this stigma against sequels in gaming. I don't care who does it as long as we keep building upon beloved franchises and making them better rather than giving up on them just because gamers are fickle. Then again these concepts don't need to b...
Pretty excited for this game. The only bad thing about the infamous is that it makes me really yearn for a modern version of the open world Spider-Man 2 (played the Amazing Spider-man, but underwhelmed) or Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction. Cole is great, but I'm a big marvel guy so playing as the Hulk in a game that looks as well polished as Second Son looks would be everything I could ask for.
It's articles like these that make the newest episodes of South Park and their satire on the console war so funny. Play what you like, that is unless you want cartman to betray you in the random guy's garden...
At least you bought a gamecube. I see tons of gamers complain about how the Nintendo abandoned them with the wii when they didn't buy the gamecube. After the poor sales of the gamecube in comparison to the less powerful PS2, I wouldn't blame Nintendo (specifically Iwata) for thinking nobody in the "hardcore" audience cares about them anymore. But then again Nintendo isn't completely the victim there either.
Gamecube was plenty powerful for its generation, but not nearly the same 3rd party support as PS2. I think it is more about both reputation and which platform is easiest to develop for, and also that Nintendo always does things their own way which may not gel for 3rd parties. One thing is for certain is that 3rd parties are very "monkey see monkey do" with what becomes successful in this industry.
I understand your criticisms, but I personally disagree with them. I think it is better to have a social network dedicated to gaming than integrating Facebook and Twitter because I don't need to update all my friends who don't care about gaming about what I am doing on my wii u or ps4. As for achievements, the only benefit I have seen is the satisfaction of destroying some person in online games who automatically assumes I suck because I don't care about unlocking all achievements...
It is okay to have different opinion than reviewers. Simmer down buddy.
Okay so when I read the sentence,
"To date, the Wii U has only sold 1.5 million units, which pales in comparison to the 100 million units the Wii sold before being discontinued -- and it's a strong indication that Nintendo might not have a place among eighth-generation consoles at all."
I literally started rofl. This is really just a new low regardless of how much you hate the wii u. By letting this article be approved, N4g has officially lost ...
lol haven't laughed at a trolling attempt this bad in some time. Don't worry we are gonna put this trolling attempt right on the fridge so everyone can see it lol
Small install base on the gamecube didn't stop Smash bros melee and double dash from being the top ten, even when the PS2 was destroying it in sales. It is not illogical to think these games will be in the top ten simply because history shows that they make it in typically regardless of how good or bad nintendo is doing.
Dang I won't be here for that. By that time Smash Bros will be out, and I will have a PS4 so I will be playing games pretty non-stop. Do let me know how it goes though old chap?
well I will say people didn't have a problem comparing the library of the xbox360 and ps3 to wii u so.....
Lol so sounds like you should have researched the wii u better before you bought it if you are getting more play time out a console that has been out for a week. Or maybe I am being presumptuous and you don't have a wii u at all or bought one to be purposefully dissatisfied with it.
"We used to have level heads."
No, you must be new because that was never the case.
No means no Luigi. Just because it is your year doesn't mean you can get in Marth's cookie jar.
Super Smash Bros. Melee....
So there is no poll or data with this article and this guy isn't even educated on the product to know that there would be just about no way a kid could end up with just the gamepad since they aren't sold separately. I agree Nintendo needs to step it up with their marketing and message, but clearly so does this writer.
Sounds like you shouldn't have bought it then. Maybe research before you buy and you wouldn't have that problem. I am enjoying mine plenty, and have had sessions much longer than that.
I have been without the gamepad for about 4 days now as it is being fixed, and I must say I would not wish a gamepadless wii u on my worst enemy.
