It's only odd if you blindly follow sales but don't know a damn thing about how these businesses have run overall for the past couple decades.
The point is not that Nintendo is happy with not selling well when obviously they are not. The point is that people point to poor sales of the gamcube as justification that Nintendo is doing SO poorly that they have to stop making hardware when that is not true. The sales of the Wii U will not be Nintendo most looming threats, but rather pressure from investors and their image in the market. We will most likely see some changes in the way Nintendo does things after this, but they aren't g...
Wait so I know that this is all just a rumor, but would this even be for wii u? Sounds like it would be for a speculated system that involved the wii u concept with the controller is completely mobile with all the talk of handheld and terminal units. Interesting stuff, and I hope something of this sort comes to fruition.
I just did and I love it. If you have the money, want the access to as many console games as possible, and don't have any grudges against either company then I say love it. Got every new system, handheld and PC, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Wait what? Pokemon + and -? where did you hear about this? Not calling you out I just wanna know too haha
Have you played it before? I was without my gamepad for about a week because I had to send it in for repair and was left with the pro controller. I hated it. The gamepad is comfortable and honestly makes me wish I had one with my PS4 and X1. You think the gamepad is useless, but when you check on miiverse (with the people who actually have the system so they know what they are talking about) that is not the popular opinion. I get that the Wii U is not the console of choice for people, but don...
Catering well to younger gamers should not be something done "on the side". It should be a prime focus. The difference in quality between Mario 3D World and Knack (I have played them both) is proof of that. Also you should listen to Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida because he has a much better understanding of Nintendo in this industry.
You are an elitist. Damn shame.
Actually Mariokart is due in the spring. But I agree in the sense that I don't think the wii u will fair to best ps4 lifetime sales in spring. But I wouldn't mind an exciting surprise in any regard.
"Nintendo relies on the same few games too much. If the other two did that they'd be criticized all the time. Microsoft already is with Halo."
So we are gonna ignore that there are almost as many(if not more) God of War games in existence as there are Halo games? No need to leave out details like that. Personally I could care less. I hear so many people like you complain about using the same IP's all the time. It is a shame because I don't care if it is...
lol and what do you get if it does? Do you really have nothing else to be proud of in your life to the point where you claim to gain from a company that wouldn't be affected at all if you died tomorrow? Sad stuff. Make you own victory in life cuz fanboyism is for fools.
To anyone who thinks the wii u would be better without the gamepad, I suggest you break it and send it in for a new one. In the time it takes for them to get it to you, just use the pro controller. You will see how much is taken away from the wii u when the gamepad is not there at all.
delusional is probably the most overused word on internet comment sections, and you are one of the biggest offenders.
Okay so I'm gonna need Sega and Nintendo to just fully unite. Once you see sonic running around in yoshi's island well that pretty much is all we need for that to be a thing.
if it is a clone then it is not our first true zelda wii u entry...
Umm Digimon Rumble Arena? lol jk but seriously The only game that I think could rival smash was power stone and now that is looking like less of a possibility.
While I disagree, I do think power stone is the only series that could have come to rival it, if it had more entries to build upon the first 2.
That's a shame because it is a fair analysis of the industry (while peppered with a few random metaphors that made me go, "what did he just say?") that opens the floor for a sound debate. Likely one that arbitor365 is not quite smart enough to participate in just yet.
Just got one from Wal-mart yesterday end of day and they had a ton still. Wal-mart and best buy are both big places, and meijer if you are in a meijer state.
Taken with a grain of salt of course, but I didn't realize the wii u software was so high. Though hardware is low at a little over 5 mil, the wii u is selling at almost 4 games for every console sold. That at least means the wii u is doing well for making up on what they lose on each console with the ones they have sold. Also I don't think Sony could have asked for a better figure going into 2014. I'm sure their software tie-in will go up a little bit once Second Son and The Order...
