I think they are just happy they can make the game. I don't think they are upset that a game that normally wouldn't have seen the light of day can now exist even if it sees low sales. There is nothing wrong with being annoyed if you don't have a wii u, but the simple fact that everyone is blaming Platinum and Nintendo when they should be blaming the companies who passed it up. That is the stupid thing to complain about.

I would say absolutely not. I broke my gamepad right around when mario 3d world came out and had to be without it for a week while it was getting fixed. The experience was fine because I have a pro, but it was pretty sucky to not be able to play on the gamepad. I would not want to have to play like that again. Have you played smash before? The circle pad is just plain not the best way to play that game when the wii u will have control sticks. Anyone who buys only the 3DS version (I will be getting both) will figure that out soon enough. It is great they spread the love and that the two games will work together, but the definitive version by far will be the wii u version. Kid Icuras was a great game, but also a great example of how much better that game could be with two control sticks on the wii u....

When it comes to this game, the state of the Wii U or most other things in the world will become irrelevant to me. I am truly excited and the earlier the better so I am hoping April 8th is right.

You can talk about the biggest influence which is mostly that in terms of the PS3/360 there will be larger online communities, and for the PS4/X1 the versions are on stronger hardware. But you can also talk about the influences that people have. When I bought my copy of Cod on wii u the clerk chuckled and asked me if I was sure.
