Well, duh. Unlike one of their competitors, Sony actually knows that the point of an exclusive is...for the game to be exclusive to their system. They said something about possibly porting some multiplayer first party titles to PC but we can be sure that their singleplayer games will stay exclusive.
Or people should wise up and start ignoring the critics who clearly don't judge products impartially anymore.
This game is certainly one of my favourites and highly recommended to those who have the means to play it.
I never did own this as a kid (and only played it once on a family friend's PC up to the stampede). I look forward to finally playing through it and the frustration that will entail (since I have no intention of using either the skip or rewind functions). I'm stoked...for now.

That is sadly true. The general quality of game "journalism" wouldn't pass in any other industry but apparently it does in this one.
I'm all for skipping a year to deliver a better product but this is EA and they're making it sound like we should wait an extra year for them to further flesh out their means of exploiting us. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that's exactly what we get.
I suppose so, but wouldn't someone who values portability want the model with the best battery life? Also, call me when they finally roll out red and/or black options, and are you insinuating that people value portability enough that they don't care if their system has a high risk of permanent drift?
It's because they not only made a splash when they entered the market, but kept up with the times and even oftentimes set the trends that helped shape the industry into what it is today. Also, every PlayStation ever made has had a solid library of games to make it a worthwhile purchase.
About the only advantages I've heard other than saving $100 is that the Lite is slightly smaller which helps with portability, and that everything looks a little more crisp on the smaller screen than with a standard Switch in handheld mode. There's an extra half hour of battery life over the original Switch, but the new model Switch has quite a bit more battery life over that, so that's not an advantage. The lack of colour choices is kind of off-putting to and that's not eve...
MTs almost exclusively fall in the ugly category. The only exception I make is for games where MTs are the only source of revenue, and even those can be handled in a pretty shady manner sometimes. There is absolutely no reason why a full-priced retail game should have MTs in it. None. And no, I don't expect MTs in new games because I don't buy those kinds of games. If it has MTs, I go the other way and refuse to give a single red cent to the company behind the game.
Anyone who poops on the subway and isn't an infant or toddler should have a lifetime ban. Granted, anyone who adds MTs to their games should be shunned by the industry, yet here we are.
Perhaps not, but to say XB1 sales are abysmal when compared to the 360 is an understatement. As for Nintendo, they've gone for a different niche rather than being a direct competitor. It also took the failure of the WiiU to get to where they're at now with the Switch.
