I hated motion control, especially at the time. If I had the option I would play versions of a game that didn't have them. So, I for one am glad a RE4 remake won't have them, if this pans out.

Oh, yeah. At least they only desecrated the day of Our Lord's resurrection. I'm with you though, that I hope they don't ruin other holidays too. Samhain and Saturnalia are also good holidays. I hope Nintendo doesn't ruin those any more than modern day humans already have.
I got quite into Bunny Day...for the first four days. At that point I had all the recipes and crafted everything. Then it got old, having eggs showing up everywhere, displacing everything, and villagers talking about eggs all the time.
Then it messed up not one but two events. I did manage to get everything in the fishing tourney but it was a bad idea on Nintendo’s part to not at least program it so you can’t catch eggs while in tourney mode. Let’s not even talk about...

That makes sense. There has been no official word from Sony that they have made their system available for pre-order. I somehow doubt a random UK retailer has some insider connections that no other retailer does. So, they wouldn't have the ability to set up a legit pre-order. So...a pre-order of a pre-order?
Oh, yeah I got the cherry blossom trees wall, and the outdoor picnic set, and the former does have some animation to it. But, that's all I got. I guess there's always next year...hopefully by then Nintendo will have fixed things so that Bunny Day doesn't overshadow the cherry blossom festival...or the fishing tourney for that matter. I'm guessing they didn't think too hard about the implications when designing the Bunny Day event.

The cherry blossoms are gone now, and now I understand why people were saying this event ruined the cherry blossom festival for them. Ha! AI: The Somnium Files might have something to say about that. I agree that this game is probably underrated by AAA standards, but it is the latest entry in a fairly well-known series, even if it hasn't had the success of the second game.
Ouch. I will admit, there are certain things that could be improved, such as only allowing one island per game, and saves being locked to the system, but I've been enjoying the online aspect just fine.

When have they not been? This is nothing new. Heck, it doesn’t sound like they’re reinventing the wheel with how they’re approaching next gen (other then their cross-gen policy for Xbox exclusives). I fully expect that we’re going to get a similar product to what we got with previous Xbox systems. It’s up to the consumer to decide whether or not that works for them.
