I hope I meet her on one of my island excursions.
Ok, I did it. Who knew going to random islands would be a great way to pick up chicks? So, that means Marina will eventually move to my island? I wasn't sure how villagers would start moving to my island, so I'm glad I figured that out...with your help of course. I also got all the hardwood and softwood I needed, and I'm only 13 iron ore short. Lulz, after saving and quitting the screen is showing that Gulliver is still wandering along that beach where I left him. Y'know...
Oh, that's what that's for. Ok, thanks for the tip. I assumed that was for online play, which I haven't bothered with yet (and can't imagine why anyone would want to visit me yet), but I'll give the Nook Ticket a try.
I'll be playing both...assuming Best Buy will ship my P5R collector's edition on time.

Day 3,
I still can't believe I went against my vow to never sell my soul to Animal Crossing again two days ago (and can't get the K.K. Slider song of the same name out of my head), yet here I am. I guess a pandemic in human society will do that.
It is taking much longer to settle in than it did when I moved to T-Town all those years ago, but yesterday and the day prior were both highly productive. Within the day of settling o...
No, the ladies should avoid getting seriously involved with him for a different reason though. They may as well be signing their own death certificate. In all fairness to Kratos, he never intends that to be the case, but it’s still something he has working against him.
I like cosmic horror, so, neat.
So? Cross gen titles were a thing early on this gen too. I’m sure there will still be PS5 exclusives too, and that will more than likely be the better version of cross gen titles. But, continuing support for the PS4 for a little while is a good thing IMHO, for those who aren’t ready to invest in a PS5 at launch.
Looks awesome! I'm stoked!
@Profchaos I think you might actually be able to access some PSP titles through the Vita store, now that you mention it. Those titles comprise a good portion of the PSP games that were released digitally, but not all of them. Part of me has considered doing a retro compilation memory card for the Vita, which could include both PSP and Vita collections, but the proprietary memory cards and their premium cost (even back when the Vita was available in stores) turned me off of that idea. Oh we...
Well, in lieu of going out and meet people due to COVID-19 concerns, I guess I can hang out on an island with some animals and get rabies or something. Hooray for Animal Crossing!
@Profchaos Sony discontinued direct PSP downloads ages ago. I know there's a way to do it with a PC, I just haven't learned it yet and it sounds more complicated. Having a PS3 to download the game to and then transfer it over seems to be the most convenient option now.
I don't really purchase PSP games anymore mind you, unless I'm doing something completely unnecessary, like last year when I finally decided to complete that memory card of every downloada...
Yea, not to mention it's invaluable for allowing the download and transfer of purchased PSP games on the PlayStation Store.
Yeah, and good thing we have complete(ish) collections now, as my one beef with the series is that it has always been way more difficult to follow than it really should be. At least it's far easier to experience the bulk of it now than it is with .hack//, but the latter also doesn't require necessarily having played/read/seen all of it. It's a bit ridiculous IMHO that an IP that contains Disney characters is so convoluted. At least it's better now than it was back in the ea...
So far I'm liking New Horizons the least, but I've been told that it gets better. I'm only into day 2 of the game, with two villagers who I'm kind of meh about. It just doesn't have as much going on yet as previous games I've played. I like that there is supposedly a lot of freedom in how to shape and decorate the island, but very little of that is available to me right now. I did get freedom on where to live, and where my fellow villagers would live, so there'...
Maybe someone who has actually played a Doom game can try adapting it sometime? Just a thought.
Yes, Hollow Knight: Silksong! I almost forgot that was coming out. Hollow Knight enchanted me in ways I never expected, so here's hoping its follow-up has the same magic to it while taking things in a new and equally creative direction.
Wait...are we finally getting the game I wanted Comix Zone to be? Neat. It looks to be more of a stealth game with run-n-gun elements, but the comic style is something that intrigued me about Comix Zone. It looks like there might be dialogue choices too.
I’m conflicted. I hope this is not in response to people potentially getting offended by the game’s core premise in light of what’s going on. On the other hand, new content is new content and I’m assuming this is a mode that’s added to the game, with the standard kill everyone mode still being an option. So...sure.
Fair enough. They're both very different games that operate on different time frames, and both are fantastic. Stardew Valley can be played at one's own pace, whereas Animal Crossing requires a lot more patience and being able to operate on a real time schedule. I can see why someone might prefer Stardew Valley in that regard. Of course, AC also has a lot to offer for those who have the time and patience for it. It really is more about taking things slow and just enjoying life in ...
