And mainstream media is known for its deep philosophical thought and objective reporting of facts? I play games to avoid trash like that.
@Nodoze After Kidd creeped me out, I decided to force him to social distance with that very method.
As for your question...it does and it doesn't. Apparently a villager will spawn somewhere random upon starting up the game. If Kidd spawns in his house or right in front of it he can only go as far as his front yard, so his choices are to either stay inside or do exercises by his front door while I laugh at his misfortune. He's actually double-trapped as he's no...
Good luck getting a crowd to play Stadia.
Please stop using awesome and mobile in the same sentence. It's an oxymoron.
I was thinking, how did a release of a Tales Of game sneak up on me like that without me even knowing about it? Then I saw that it's for mobile and now I know why. Way to get me pumped and them immediately leave me feeling disappointed Bandai Namco.
This looks like it shares some similarities with Degrees of Separation, but different enough to warrant checking out.
Ah, good times. I remember not being too put out by Redd's forgeries in Wild World as I made sure to keep buying from him every week until I eventually got every legit painting. I'm assuming it will be the same idea here.
Not if you have it connected to wifi. If it's connected to the internet it's just as hackable as any other device connected to the internet, whether it's plugged into the wall or not.
Nice. I didn't know this was out.
Because Gen 1 was such a success that it merits a Gen 2?
I think strong hardware has its merits. Hardware is what sets the bar for the current limit of game design, so stronger hardware means a higher bar. I know that's oversimplifying things, but it's more or less the truth. But, you're right that the reason why hardware alone doesn't move the most systems is because it's about the games first and foremost, and of course if system A has more tantalizing games than system B, system A is likely to sell more.
I feel horrible when I hear about stuff like that happening, especially with a really old school JRPG like that. On the other hand, I'm shocked at how many people ignore the fundamental rule of always saving, especially in a RPG. You're not alone as so many people, including internet celebrities have claimed to have suffered the consequences of such an oversight. I guess my cousin won't have to feel so bad about losing a few hours of Persona 5 data to a game crash now.
I can't imagine why people would think that, especially now with the Switch and its tabletop mode making all kinds of local multiplayer (including co-op) that much easier to set up.
The Switch is both a handheld and a home console. Just because it's not as powerful as other systems doesn't mean it doesn't fit the definition of a home console. Yes, the Lite is handheld only, so that is a dedicated handheld. But, the main model Switch is both. That's why it's named that. With the DS "market" as you put it, Nintendo killed off the Gameboy "market". Your point?
Well, Sony definitely made better choices throughout the lifespan of the PSP. I'm not going to go into all the reasons why it was more successful, but chief among them was much greater first and third party support. In spite of that I'm glad I own a Vita and I'm sad that Sony bowed out of the handheld market after that. They can make great handhelds.
I don't think the canon is going to change, and I certainly hope the story doesn't change. However, I may be ok with certain choices or actions throughout the game having an effect on certain key events.
Oh, I contributed to that...
Who cares? About the only thing they have in common is that they're both JRPGs. Also, PS4 owners can play both, and both are recommended.
You realize if you all just stay home and stop the spread of the virus, then it will go away and won't be a problem anymore, so when you do open back up again you won't have to worry about being in this situation again, right? If you open up too quickly, the pandemic may not go away or there may be a second spread of the virus. So, you could end up having to shut down all over again. Do you want that? Why not just get the situation dealt with the first time?
It is. Denial is strong with Google.
