Yeah, terribly. PS VR is nothing like that atrocity. By that logic you can say that a handful of predecessors did game systems before any of the companies we know now. While technically true, even the NES is vastly superior to the Magnavox Odyssey and about all the two systems share in common is that they're both game systems...or at least the latter is technically labeled as such. So yes, the Virtual Boy is a VR predecessor, but that's all it has in common with the modern take o...
The novelty of the Switch has worn off by its second holiday season, but I'm sure it will do alright. It's definitely performing much better than Nintendo's Wii U did, and although it has a long road ahead of it to catch the PS4 and may not even outsell it in December, it should still do well in its own right and I think it will at least beat the XB1.
Duh. There's no way Sony would leak the design of their new system before they're ready, and even if it did somehow leak early, it wouldn't be this much in advance, which is to say, there is no reveal date yet.
I'm not cancelling my pre-order, but I'm not nearly as excited for this as I was when it was announced. Hopefully it will all be worth it when I boot up Tekken 3 again for the first time in 18 years.
Good thing I'll only ever watch the reveal trailer for a game that interests me and stay clear of all others. I also rarely seek out much in the way of information on an upcoming title as I despise spoilers.
You'd think parents should worry more about protecting their kids from worse things than high-cut leotards, but nope. This is the thing they might worry about, so companies should always censor it. /s
I'm not surprised. I'm still getting one though, largely for a few of the games on there. However, this system could have been so much better.
I was thinking that broad whose name I forget from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but Velma works too. I mean, I personally think Ada has to be half-white on her mother's side. I'm assuming the point of this remake is to present a "younger version" of all the characters who eventually change to look like they do in the present day as a sort of visual character progression. I suppose Ada could have progressed from bespectacled agent to the sexy femme fatale she's know...
What's to unpack? The game clearly sucks, so critics and gamers alike obviously aren't liking it very much, and I just summed that up in one sentence.
I fail to see how not holding a presentation one year at E3 could possibly undo five years of PS4 success. I'd say enlighten me, but I'm not reading this article. Maybe someone who has read it could enlighten me? Clicking that link just isn't worth the effort...or supporting this site in any way.
Pathetic, especially in the year when God of War, Spider-Man and Red Dead Redemption 2 released, and they're all great. Bethesda needed to release a great entry in the Fallout series, not a terrible one.
Because there has always been an agenda with these studies, very few of which are conducted objectively. The hypocrisy you brought up is likely due in part because these so called "scientists" probably binge on Netflix on their days off, and never pick up a controller. Videogames can be addictive, but so can all media if we let ourselves get hooked on it.
Good thing most people don't put much stock in reviews nowadays. Third rate reviewers can try to downplay this game all they want. I for one choose not to read their BS and just enjoy a great game. I just finished this DLC and can't wait for the next one.
@Pantz Not to mention some parents don't really care what media their kids consume, and the kids of parents who do, just go over to the house of the friend whose parents don't. I once met a 10 year old kid at work who said he frequently went over to his friend's house to play Watchdogs 2.
And yes, bad parenting shouldn't mean those of us old enough to consume certain media shouldn't be allowed to. There's a rating system that, although flawed, is...
Or perhaps companies should start ignoring the political extremes as they're the reason why we can't have nice things, and I like to think the majority of people aren't mentally ill individuals who are offended by the dumbest things at the drop of a hat. We can't have a new GTA because apparently Rockstar are afraid it will offend the current president who supposedly can't handle satire, and now we can't have uncensored fanservice games because Sony are afraid that so...
@kalkano It skipped their precious Xbox.
Don't tell that to the casuals who somehow missed them. Actually, please do, they should not be denied a rite of passage.
Ummm...what? The losers review bombing these games realize they're old news right with the exception of Persona 5? They can't travel back in time and discourage people from playing them, and RPG fans aren't going to skip Persona 5 if they haven't already played it. Screw people who do this for any game, and I'm thankful that people aren't so dense as to take them seriously, but what was this particular group trying to accomplish? Making it known to the internet tha...
Yeah...I'm siding with the user on this one.
True dat, although Nintendo might have been better off now had they not spawned their rival who almost always breaks 100 million consoles sold per gen (and still surpassed 80 last gen). Oh well, live and learn, and long live PlayStation. I still have some love for Nintendo too, so long live them as well, but that was a remarkable screw-up on their part.
