Well, the good news is fans won't be deterred by third-rate reviews like this one. It's good to know that videogamer.com isn't a very good site though.
EA, that's why. I like when games release and that's that. Having patches with bug fixes here and there is one thing, but when a game clearly isn't going to be complete at launch, I have a really hard time justifying getting it day 1. I actually rarely day 1 games in general unless I'm a total fanboy of a series and possibly absolutely need the collector's edition, and modern practices by certain AAA devs and publishers just makes me even less inclined to do so. As for...
Well, there’s no spinning this. Good job Sony and Nintendo!
Exclusives sell systems because when you have two or more that are similar hardware and UI-wise, the system with the most games you want to play is easily the more attractive choice. People have been buying PS4s in droves because Sony made the right executive decision to make their console the one that has the most games that people want.
I’d love a RE3 remake but I’d also love a new game, and also a new Revelations. I love that Capcom remade RE2 but they shouldn’t neglect new game development either.
I believe richierich is referring to RE6’s emphasis on shooting hordes of zombies versus having zombie encounters more spaced out and ammo more limited like with a more traditional survival horror experience, but RE2 is indeed in the third person.
MS have really got their work cut out for them, and even if the stars align correctly, “toppling” Sony is still a bit of a pipe dream. They could at least work towards being more of a competitor though, and that does seem to be what they’re trying to do.
Many PC fanboys have said that exact statement over the years. I hardly think that qualifies as news though. Consoles are here to stay so you're just going to have to make peace with that.
Well, for MS's sake I hope things pan out better than the many other times they've made this statement. I'm not holding my breath on it though.
Maybe they are pushing an exclusive to promote their service and try and compete with Steam. Unfortunately, it's Steam they're picking a fight with so I don't think it's a great plan, but I can see the rationale behind it. I've come to accept that there's a PC digital storefront war going on alongside whatever the current console war is, although it seems to be a fairly one-sided massacre. Still, if a company can successfully bring competition, all the power to them...
Yeah, which makes sense as it's essentially just a bundle. I can't imagine why anyone would put in the time, effort and resources to create a special download just for that sort of thing when they could just bundle together existing downloads plus the one for the upcoming game, and that looks like exactly what they're doing. The file size indicated is reached by simply adding up the sizes of all the downloads combined, and it makes sense to display that for a bundle, but that do...
Sorry...what? How much does MS pay for articles like this?
I'm actually surprised the PS3 and PS4 collections even happened and I count my blessings that they did. I guess Square Enix finally realized the importance of being able to actually follow a series...until they didn't.
I think having the third game on XB1 without any of the previous games makes zero sense, and it's doubtful that Kingdom Hearts fans would default to the latest Xbox if they had to stick with only one system, so I'm not really sure who the ...
I keep hearing conflicting stuff about whether these remakes are worth checking out or not. I would normally say I might wait for a price drop but these are Nintendo first party titles, so...I guess I have plenty of time to decide whether it's worth checking out or not. Opinions do help though.
@Samus707 From what I’ve heard not everyone is cut out to be a VA and that does seem to be a bit of an oversimplification of what they do, but it is true that people who are in positions that bring media attention to them are far more likely to be widely recognized for what they do than the rest of us who...aren’t.
@Rare That does seem to be true, but that doesn’t make their achievements any less noteworthy. Still, you have a point. At least I haven’t had to deal with depression and substance abuse.
Wait, what?
If you have to ask you must not be following the industry that closely.
I don’t know about that but there’s nothing wrong with just releasing a solid open world game.
My favourite MTs in full retail releases are...there are none, I hate them. I really don't care what kind of spin Bioware tries to put on them. Are they in the game? If so, I'm not buying it.
