I did not know about the in-game "Quick settings" menu. That will actually be tons of help. As for the others, I knew the rest.

Yeah, I was surprised how much they kept the same from the console version in regards to graphics. If you pinch the screen to zoom in, you get an even closer look at the well-drawn character models.

Seems like everyone is getting ready for the next generation of gaming. Of course Frostbite 2.0 can be used on our current generation hardware, it's also already suited up for the next Playstation, Xbox and more powerful PC's.
So it only makes sense EA will be using this engine for most of their "to-be released" games for next-gen hardware. Won't have to spend the money on creating new engines for all their action games when they have a perfectly good on...
I'll probably use my own music after the in-game music gets old, or boring. Since music really helps drive these types of games, I'm glad they added the feature to bring in your own music.

I'd love for Skyrim to get some Co-op. I think most games need this feature as everyone wants to be more social nowadays. Plus, I also feel having Co-op would give people more of a reason to buy specific games.
Single Player is fun, but it gets boring after a while. Especially when you are trying to get through all the side-quests, and main quests of a game. Doing that with a friend or three would make an already fun game tons of fun.
I'd like to know exactly what settings and mods this guy was using since his looks infinitely more amazing than mine does even with the all the mods I have installed.
I keep thinking these pictures I'm seeing are screenshots of Skyrim using mods, then photoshopped to look even better.

I haven't heard of him until someone brought this to my attention, then I did some research and it ends up making the most sense that they'd bring this character back for something like this. Given what we know about him (RE6 unknown guy) as it is.
I can see it hitting the 5 million mark now that it's being released on both consoles at the same time (& PC, obviously).
Mass Effect 2's release on PS3 was kind of hidden, so it's understandable it didn't sell well. It's actually more surprising it sold as good as it did with next to no advertising (I actually still hear people discovering ME2 exists on the PS3 to this very day).
So now that everyone knows its coming out on Xbox360, ...

And they lower the price by $3-$5? Sure, a discount is a discount, but give me a break. It should be much less than that. Not to mention you can't even share your games if you go digital.

Well I'm glad they're fixing the problems for everyone else. I just hope this isn't how they plan on updating apps. "Pull them off the PSN, then make us download them again" is a terrible idea.
But it's too early to judge. Maybe we'll just get software updates on apps like the games do.
The western trailers for this game are so, so much better than this. If this was the only kinds of trailers I saw for this game, I'd never think of buying it.
Thankfully, this is the only one of it's kind that I have seen. So I still plan on picking this one up.
If they did this, I would rather have something exclusive, and made to take advantage of the Vita's strengths. I loved the first Mass Effect(PC) & Mass Effect 2 (PS3/PC), and know I'll love the 3rd (N7 CE pre-ordered on PC and PS3), but I don't want to play them on my Vita.
I'd rather them bring something out that takes place in a different part/event of the Mass Effect universe. I'm sure there are many good stories yet to be told.

I'm glad they decided to let DICE sit this one out. I actually enjoyed the Single Player of MoH way more than the Multiplayer DICE made for it. So it'll be nice to see what Danger Close will put together in regards to MP. I don't doubt it'll be better than the previous attempt.
This is actually brilliant. Offer Multiplayer portion of games free-to-play until a certain level, then have them buy it. Maybe this means soon we'll be able to pick and choose which part of a game we want to buy for a lower price?
So for those who play Battlefield and Call of Duty don't have to pay for a single player portion they don't even want, or ever plan on playing.
This actually looks to be an amazing idea. I hope it takes off.
This will most likely be a PSVita/PS3 game. It'll probably be a sequel to Peace Walker using the same concept, except it'll be Foxhound (or probably another not known group given the dog picture).
I can already sort of tell where this is going. I just hope they use in-game cinematics. As much as I loved the drawings/comic-style, I missed Metal Gear Solid 4's cinematics (I know, crazy!).
I also hope it'll keep some Co-op and management featur...
I'll be watching this one. Not sure if I'm going to buy it as it's harder to play these more arcadey games nowadays (get bored far too quickly), and I've sort of grown out of the whole skateboarding thing.
Maybe I'll give it a shot if there is a demo, and maybe the nostalgia-factor will be what it takes to make me buy it.
I like the menu music. It gives the handheld some charm. After a while it can be a bit fatiguing to the ears, but I fix that by turning down the volume.
I always thought that if they NEEDED someone with star power to be in the movie in order to drag non-Uncharted fans over to watch, Gerard Butler would be perfect.
If you watch how he acts in some of the more comedic roles he's played, he could pull off Nathan Drake's wit perfectly. I think he's the only one (besides Nolan North himself) that could be Nathan Drake if there ever were a movie.
Just so everyone knows, the darker the image, the less problems you'll see in regards to textures and colour. So yes, the Xbox360 version does look better. But the PS3 version will look identical if you mess with the Brightness settings.

There isn't that much of a jump to say any which one is better looking.
I do find this kind of ridiculous since the reason the price is so high is most likely because it's a new type of card (R&D costs).
But I don't believe they should be forcing their users to foot the bill because they decided to go with a new type when there are probably many other ways to have higher security using tried and true (already released and cheap) devices.
