YES. I said they'll be making a mistake if they didn't add some kind of Co-op option, or online option in this game so I'm glad to hear this. I just hope they don't waste the potential on some competative MP seen in every other online shooter.
Give us some survival missions, or procuring mission, etc, where we need to work together in order to complete them.
I'm pretty sure the meat running the game has something to do with the way it looks, too.
Good examples are most games made on the Source Engine tend to look alike. And the same goes for games using CryEngine, and the same for the Unreal Engine. The only way it'll look hugely different is if they heavily modify it (engine). But even then there are no guarantees it'll look much different.
So to say it's made to look that way because Naughty Dog...
It really doesn't matter who does it first, it's who does it the best. That's why Kinect is known infinitely more than PSEye on PS2 (or any other type of motion control before it). Kinect detects camera-only motion better than the PS2 Eyetoy.
But when it comes to motion controllers, the PSMove is easily the best for motion gaming. After that, it all comes down to who markets their product better and product price. It has very little to do with the games.
...
This. I don't think I need to say much else.
Oh hell yes. I hope it doesn't take too long to get it on to the PSStore. I've been looking forward to this since it was announced!
I don't care what anyone says. Sony is doing perfectly fine. If Sony also made a very casual movie/Facebook/tv console it'd sell well too. If you look at the much bigger picture, Sony's console is very limited yet can still catch up to the 360 in terms of sales. While Microsoft has to constantly update their console (which isn't a bad thing) to keep people from forgetting it exists.
So sure, Xbox outsold and still outsells the ps3. But it damn well better whe...
Wow. This is sort of bogus. Makes me want to question both Dragons Dogma and RE6. Are they going to get in bed with Microsoft and get more than just this? Ie the way ps3 was treated by Dead Rising. I certainly hope not as I'm very interested in buying both of these games for PS3. I just don't want to be "Call of Duty'd".
You know what the funny part is? First everyone got all in Sony's face over having "no gayms", and now everyone is back in their face over having too many games.
I said it before and I'll say it again. Sony will never catch a break.
Yeah, his haircut WOULD look fantastic next to outrageously ugly haircuts. How about... You know, a normal short-medium haircut? Or maybe a more modern version of his old haircut? (which does exist, btw)
Not saying his current haircut is bad. Just saying that article chose THE worst possible test photos, ever.
It's either the first of many Vita God of War games, or a new God of War for PS3.
Either way, I'm hoping they make the game more "meaty", if you know what I'm saying. God of War 3 was amazing, but I can't help but feel I wanted more.
Hopefully they add some Co-op style modes like Sigma 2 did for Ninja Gaiden, or add a 4-player survival mode with tons of chapters and such.
I find it ridiculous they didn't add Claire. They have pretty much everyone (wouldn't count Ada out yet) from the main RE entries, but they don't add in Chris's sister and Leon's partner in crime. Of course I'll still play and love RE6, but I'll always feel like something is missing.
Most likely end up seeing them (island of misfit RE characters) in some sort of survival mode or mp mode.
I'm very curious of this game, it's just the graphics kind of turn me off as it looks like a ever so slightly better looking PSP game.
The DLC could be playable versions of the figures in the MP modes, or the outfit they wear usable on your character. That was my first impression.
And no, I'll just wait for the DLC to be released on its own a couple months later (if it's worth it).
This game is going to be huge. From this trailer alone, it seems like it'll have tons of content. If they do this right, I'll forgive Capcom for most of their shortcomings.
I'm kind of curious. I'll be keeping my eyes on this one.
What in gods name are these people trying to prove? Anon is literally becoming what they claim they fight against. So far, they have done FAR more damage to the every day consumer than SOPA has ever done (or any of their other technology-related targets).
Examples:
Anon has taken down the PSN, and wants to take down any other website people always use, and frequent.
SOPA has taken down absolutely nothing, and has hurt nobody (yet).
And nobody is commenting on the fact that the trophies don't auto-sync when you earn them... Now that is something I've been wanting since Trophies really kicked off on PS3 and I was hoping the Vita would have this feature when on a 3G network, or when connected via Wifi.
I guess we'll have to look forward to the PS4 for this feature.
Most definitely them testing (or just making) the PSN for Vita and PS3 use. Since both the Vita and PS3 will be using the PSN for online play and will be able to update trophies, send msgs, etc.
I just hope Sony is preparing a new update for PS3 that will allow some of those cool Vita community features for the PS3 (Profile backgrounds and such).
Since it's going to look odd switching between PS3 and Vita, with your PS3 friends keeping the bland, generic...
I'll be buying and enjoying the new DmC for sure. It's actually one of the games I'm most anticipated for in 2012.
My reasons for being excited are Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, my love for the DMC universe, and the possibility of a proper story for Dante.
I hope all you haters eventually see the game for what it is, and not as some rage-filled fanboy (you don't even have to buy it if it angers you that much, just rent it).
The fact that I'll be playing a video game in the city I live in is "Doing things we'd only dreamed of before" for me. The rest will be the icing on the cake.
