What? DmC Dante looks infinitely more badass. Although that could be another thing that is on a "per-person basis". But I find Dante's new rugged look and attitude way more badass than the prissy boy he used to be.

The new Dante fits his personality/life far more than the old one did.

Yeah, what the hell Sony. Why is it that I like Shuhei Yoshida, Jack Tretton, and Kaz Hirai? They just seem like they'd be pleasant fellows to be around/talk to.

Why are people disagreeing?

It most likely is a PS4 launch game. Just like the games being made by Guerrilla Games, Media Molecule, Naughty Dog - Team Uncharted, and other Sony first party studios that disappeared. And I don't doubt some games meant to come out on PS3 will instead be appearing on PS4; ie Last Guardian (tech difficulties), Versus XIII, Agent, etc.

Sony's biggest problem with the PS3 was the whole "No Gaems" fiasco. I highly ...

I think everyone is using the wrong word here. A "rip-off" is something that is more shameless. Playstation All-Stars is a take on a genre mastered by Nintendo. I can't really think of the proper word, but the idea is that one person/company puts one idea out there, and many try to challenge it.

But since Playstation All-Stars is on a different platform, it can't really directly challenge Super Smash Bros.

Anyhow, developers have been givi...

I want to fully reply to this but I can't. All I'll say is this: Anyone with any knowledge of numbers and marketing (not even necessary) will see Microsoft isn't in as good of a position with the Xbox360 as people think and that Sony is clearly doing better.

That's all.

Not to mention Sony also has big reveals at shows like GDC and also has a history of just announcing things whenever they feel like it.

But one main thing you already stated was this deal seems fairly new. We might not even see this come to fruition until a few years down the road (although it could be a whole lot sooner).

EDIT:
Oh, and E3 isn't over yet. Sony is supposed to be showing more Last of Us tomorrow, among other things until the event ...

The reason I don't really care about this is because Sony has made their conference widely available as it is. Not to mention Spike TV is still going to show games from Sony's camp, even if it isn't the full conference.

And if I want to see everything in one place, I'll just be searching the internet in places like N4G, Playstation Blog, IGN and Gametrailers.

Oh lord. Co-op is always something I can stand behind. Everything is always better with friends. I just hope that doesn't mean people who want to enjoy playing alone will get the short end of the stick.

I have faith in the developers though. And a game with co-op always allows me to buy them easier. If it ends up being a single-player (and competitive-MP) only game, I'll probably wait for the price to drop to at least $30-$40.

They'll be kidding themselves if they think Cloud gaming will replace anything. People should start looking at this in a positive light. For example:

If Sony partnered with Gaikai, they could stream PS4 demos to the PS3 (among many other things they could use with the PS3 now). Why would this be worth it? When the PS4 does end up coming out, lots of gamers won't make that jump. So giving them constant access to every demo released for the PS4 will show them what they&...

Ha, I just figured it out. If they plan on doing this, it's going to be Gaikai. And I just figured out why it would work so well. You will too if you go to http://www.gaikai.com/ .

The idea could very well be as simple as allowing gamers to play PS3 games from Gaikai's servers, OR it'll be used to demo games (all games) on the PSN for free almost instantly like you would view a screenshot or preview video.

If they don't do that cross-platform/play thing with the Vita x PS3, I'll be disappointed. Sony has such a sick system set up and ready to be used, but it seems as if everyone is just saving these features for the Wii-U.

All I can say on this whole next generation thing is "wait and see". It's hard to believe Sony and Microsoft will make the jump that big when there are plenty of gamers who now just expect consoles to cost less than $499.

We currently live in a world full of Facebook/social games, Apple, tablets, and smartphones. And A LOT of people I know have almost completely made the move from PS3/Xbox360 to smartphone gaming, or social gaming.

I think the...

I swear I've heard this before. For the last 2 or so years I've been reading on various forums, and hearing from friends that they wish "so-and-so" PS3 Exclusive was released on Xbox360.

So I've got an idea for most Xbox360-only users; buy a PS3.

I've had a bit of an issue with Competitive multiplayer as of lately, so I'll have to agree in a different way. I feel as if we've all been doing the same thing across all games for ages now, but something we haven't had much of is co-op, or large scale co-op (that isn't an MMO).

I personally want to see games that have more Co-op features, and try to do new things with playing together, rather than against each other.

Also, Single Player ...

Wow, finally. I guess I'll try it out on PS3 again. I was tired of all the Battlefield 3 "pro's" stacking their team. Those guys are pretty much equal to boosters in Call of Duty.

Well, at least this means those who actually want to play the game can play it, and get better at it legitimately.

Already have Diablo 3 installed, and I'm just waiting for midnight. I'll eventually get Max Payne 3, but for now I have Diablo 3 and plenty of other games to play.

I think something people are forgetting is that Nintendo just made a new console. And is probably still working on it. Doesn't that cost money to do? Like, a lot of money?

Nintendo, like Sony and Microsoft, is perfectly fine. Companies lose money. It just so happens that a lot of big companies are losing money at the moment. But they eventually slow down the leak, and start making money again.

It's a natural order of things.

If Microsoft is smart, they'd market the Xbox360 as their casual console, and continue pumping out Kinect-style games and multiplatform titles on that console for cheap.

Then, that leaves the nextBox open for mainly core games. So they can focus on the core gamers who are willing to spend a large sum for their new console at launch, or within the first few years.

Sony is in the exact same position with their PS3. Both of these consoles have some sort of o...

I'm not sure I understand the point of this article. If it's a joke article, what are they trying to prove? I agree games should never be categorized based on origin. They should all be "RPG"s.

Especially when it's specifically "Japanese RPG's", rather than eRPG's like we're categorized as wRPG's.

If we're playing like that, then Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights, and Baldur's Gate should be ...

I'd assume it would be that infamous train scene in the beginning that started off Final Fantasy VII and raised so much hype for a potential PS3 version.

Not to mention it sets it up for many cross-over backgrounds.

That or the Northern Crater from the ending. Once again, another level with cross-over potential.
